Expensive and dont care about disabilities

Loved the TV channels service was ok but expensive BB expensive phone not optional and expensive get the drift here Worst thing was that I am partially deaf and NEED subtitles despite lots of calls they leave it to your own devices to get them per channel NOT EASY Went to Virgin cheaper and subtitles for all channels programs that offer subtitles are a two button push job Learn from your opposition SKY

Please please don t buy a Sky Glass

Please please don t buy a Sky Glass without doing your research Very bad milky picture unless you are directly in front of the screen sound does not match up with the picture if you have a black background it is VERY Patchy If you go to fast with the controller the picture will hang and you need to reboot The tv will just suddenly hang and again you will need to reboot we have Sky s fastest broadband and it still happens I think they should have sorted out these glitches before going to market Would I buy a Sky Glass now knowing what I do NO

Tital lack of customer service

Called 6 weeks ago to amend package was quoted 5 for essentials tv which i was happy with however they keep billing me for 15 Raised a complaint which they closed on the basis I need to phone up why as the issue should be simple to resolve Guess what 20 minutes on the phone again and still not resolved Is there any customer service with this company Have given 2 stars on the basis that broadband is better than I had with Virgin but the benchmark isn t high

Sky slow Q

As I ve not seen any reviews for SkyQ I will leave one and hopefully it will prompt sky tv to improve a very mediocre service firstly when working I love skyQ I personally think it s superb With many outstanding features however when problems occur skys response is pretty awful just received a new router last one faulty it s easy to install and works well but again as with the last router it s having problems connecting with the mini boxes everything else is fine so after over 2 hours on the phone with sky I require as I did last time an engineer visit and am told it takes 3 weeks which I find utterly ridiculous we work from home as childminders so no sky service for the children not even movie s we ve purchased this is not a criticism of their engineers as they have always been polite and very helpful but sadly for us we are now looking to change our service to something more reliable People ask if I would recommend SkyQ and I ve always said the product is excellent when working But skys response time to problems is very poor And for this reason I will be changing to something more reliable

Appalling company and customer service

UPDATE Call centre in India appalling However spoke to a person in Scotland and the customer service was significantly better I even received the promised Mastercard On the flip side the internet is unreliable and constantly dropping out so most likely will still be going somewhere else ORIGINAL Appalling company and appalling customer service The package price agreed on the phone during sing-up 37 but they immediately charged me 39 Apparently this was a yearly price increase In addition they overcharged me in August by 17 89 Lastly during sign-up they promised to send a prepaid Mastercard with 75 That hasn t materialised either though they promised to send it within 2 weeks after I chased this today When the contract expires I am definitely leaving Will update you if this has happened or not

Leaving but not a bad experience with SkyTV

I am leaving sky for good after being with them for 13 years Prices for extra movies sports etc are just too expensive to pick up So 2 stars down for that I personally have never had a bad experience with Sky customer service They were always helpful and polite Even till recently I have decided to cancel everything was done very swiftly Having netflix and online my family and I just do not watch any normal television shows programs anymore so there was no point having skytv The net on the other hand is something else there Review made on the sky net

Was a customer with sky for a number of years Was happy with their service and thought the value for money wasn t bad Occasionally would up the price during the contract period by a couple of quid Which was annoying but they would always drop it back down after complaining Unfortunately I moved address and sky let me down time after time for installation Leaving me without internet phone and For months In the end I gave up and switched to one their rivals

We have always been pleased with our service however in recent months the app has become too difficult to use I rely on multiple ways of being able to get in touch with any service provider given my onset deafness so when the app became an option I was pleased Unfortunately the app is challenging for any user my son included who is of a totally different age so I would like that looked into

I have had my Sky Glass 55 inch tv 2 weeks would I have ordered it had I known what it was like No The picture is not at all comparable with my LG 55inch UHD tv which is 5 years old The Glass sound is average and as such I have ordered a sound bar system I do regret moving from Sky Q
