My issue with sky glass is the delay in

My issue with sky glass is the delay in sound this means it does not sync with the picture I have been in touch with sky and done many fixes they have suggested but even after a new TV it still has not fixed the issue I am now not sure what to do

So many different offers the customer advisors don t appear have a clue what you ve been offered previously

I ve been a Sky customer for over 3yrs now and have received a reasonable service during this time hence the 3 stars I recently cancelled to save money and have received numerous different offers during the cancellation period one of which I would have signed up to However when I called back to proceed I was passed from one department to another several times until after being on hold for what seemed like forever finally I ended the call The customer advisor called me back with the offfer price being increased stating they were unable to improve on this as they did not have the authority suggesting I contact another department - again Thanks but no thanks Sky - it was good while it lasted

Sky glass is a good idea but Sky

Sky glass is a good idea but Sky started to sell it before the finished getting all the bugs out It regularly drops connection and you have to put in your internet details again with the most ridiculous way of putting in your password known to man Often you just can t switch the damn thing on nothing It ll just freeze a lot you have to switch it off at the wall and switch it back on Oh and then there s the remote control That just stops working too The fix for that is to wring it out like a dish rag You can t record things but skys answer to this is the playlist Which is the most bizarre thing Once it s in there you can t get it out and I have random stuff that I ve not added like BBC breakfast forever in my playlist constantly being updated

Great Product but not great Value

We have been with Sky for some years now and classed as a VIP we also have 4 mobile phones with them We came to the end of our TV contract so gave them a call and was offered an increase of 10 per month and 20 admin charge so after a quick think we decided to give our 31 days notice We have been amazed how much alternative to sky is out there with huge savings and in the current climate to make such a saving without compromise on quality is a great opportunity So thank you to sky by putting your price up by nearly a 1 4 plus a admin change you have saved me 500

SKY TV has priced me out - I had to cancel

SKY TV has priced me out Every year Sky subscription increases even though it s more expensive than Netflix and Prime video combined I had Sky cinema even though the choice compared to Netflix and Prime didn t impress me I stopped watching Sky apart from The House of Dragons and Christmas movies that can be watched elsewhere and yet I hung on paying 35 per month - money that I could have used to pay a monthly gym membership I hung on despite how expensive it is and the fact I hardly watch it anymore Before streaming it was worth every penny but it became an unnecessary extravagance But after 20 years I was to attached to cancel until this year When my contract came to an end they debited 63 from my account I panicked and called Sky Customer service to renew my subscription so that I could return to paying 35 but OH NO they wanted MORE 56 A WHOPPING 56 I tried to haggle down the price and they reduced the price to 42 but it s still too much I refused and told them to go ahead and switch it off I m an enterprising person who hardly has time to watch TV But my attachment to Sky TV after all these years got the better of me I allowed the sky customer service rep to convince me to postpone cancellation and call back just before Xmas when they have better offers But then I discovered they still couldn t satisfy with 35 a month So I cancelled but now I have to wait 31 days but untill then they will take another 63 It has made me see how I have finally come to my senses Sky will continue to create a wider divide between their prices and the streaming networks whilst tying subscribers into contracts It s an end of an era but time moves on to leave certain things behind Maybe one day when I m rich I ll return to SKY TV but in the meantime no more Sky TV and I won t miss it due to the very reason Sky is losing millions of subscribers each year - affordable Netflix and Prime VIdeo

Sky is great never really had a problem my only issue is my deal will soon run out however I have seen sky dont really do new deals for existing customers When I was with virgin if I called up after deal ran out would get a new one Sky seem to assume that sky VIP is rewarding existing customers but in reality it doesnt as it seems you would have to have been an existing customer for a period of time to have any chance at a decent reward I am someone who has mental health issues and social anxiety so therefore dont get out much and rely on the television but with prices always rising and new customers getting deals only that doesnt help those who are loyal paid Bill s on time and who would like to stay with sky but at a reasonable price I get it has to be increased from time to time that s not an issue but after your deal is done and you are looking at your package doubling in price almost not good

I m a new sky customer Received my box No card 5 days later the card turns up Pop it in to the box No on demand services as per my package Do you think I can get sky to answer the phone No 50 minutes on hold Apparently it s due to coronavirus That s wearing a bit thin now given they have us 7 months to make alternative arrangements like my bank nationwide My phone O2 Thames water etc etc So I just cancelled the services Easier than waiting forever for them to answer the phone I m assuming judging by other reviews they don t actually read them or just don t care Update after a lot of back and forth in live chat and the phone they eventually sorted it out Took about 6-8 hours of calls etc

I re contracted with sky broadband tv after getting no where with online existing customer I called for cancellation I spoke to someone named Micheal who gave me an amazing deal after being a sky customer for 9yrs he was brilliant talked me through every issue that I have had with sky he even gave me a true broad band reading after 6 years of me telling them I m not getting what they advertised explained the reasons why He was fab although I did find out afterwards my exchange is only down the road so not that far away after all but thank you for all you did to help He gets 10 10

I was really pleased on upgrading to

I was really pleased on upgrading to our Sky Q box The engineer who visited was on time polite and helpful and sorted everything out with a minimum of fuss The Sky Q box itself is a massive improvement on our old one and we are really enjoying using it The voice remote is great

I recently cancelled renewing my contract with Sky after 20 years because they had a section in their TV guide for a far left political organisation who wound quite happily see the destruction of Sky but being woke was far more important to Sky than the police being defunded the government brought down and the end of Sky Tv which must have been the decision of a complete idiot However credit where credit is due and the Marxist backed political party section in Sky s TV listings has finally been removed bringing back sanity and non-biased advertising which a 4 year old could have worked out was the right thing to do I complained about this months ago and was fobbed off so put my money where my mouth is and left Sky for another broadcaster My time is almost up my with Sky and I haven t changed my mind about staying with Sky as they treated me with contempt even though I was offended but at least they ve made the right decision at last and got back their sanity so I would recommend Sky TV now and had 20 years with them The customer service sometimes was a bit sketchy but nobody s perfect I may be proved wrong and they go back to making far left political actions but for now they re ok Thanks Sky and I forgive you
