No customer service joke

The worst customer service it s seems sky is cheapening out with no actual customer service staff making it near impossible to actually speak to someone the customer service or lack of is shocking Far too BOT AI infused it s so frustrating and time consuming to get answers to simple problems for example I changed my sim plan then decided I wanted to stay on my existing plan but the site gave no option to cancel the change and trying to get through to someone in the last hour and a half is impossible - I m 26 work in tech never mind my mum or nan using this service I m not against AI I find this service a joke something needs to change

Why did I swap to Sky Glass

Why did I swap to Sky Glass it s is truly awful Been using for a few months and itd getting worse Picture freezes on a regular basis keep getting message no Internet then a few minutes later it s back on but all other device connections are fine Also upgraded to the latest Sky router WiFi 6 that s also bad much lower coverage than my old router all in all can t wait for my contract to end so I can just sit down put on the TV and watch something and I m paying a Fortune each month

SKY TV is Cheating its Customers

Sky TV has doubled its subscription fees without prior notification or communication This lack of transparency is deeply frustrating When we contacted them to cancel the service they refused to issue a refund and mentioned a one-month cancellation fee meaning they plan to charge us even more Such practices feel exploitative and unfair especially during challenging times

Cancellation problems

Our Sky TV stopped working after 5 years of use We called to cancel it They said we d need to pay for a extra month even though the contract was outside the 2 year period We said if thats the rules then okay but asked them to fix it in the waiting month They sent an engineer on the wrong day I waited for 5 hours on the agreed day but they didn t arrive They charged us 25 for a missed visit They also reactivated the account without our permission The system was easy to obtain a new service but extremely difficult to cancel

Utterly overpriced

Utterly overpriced We had a broadband and TV package The price hike after the initial contract period is breathtaking We ended up on 102 per month for an average broadband speed and TV with not much more than what is available on Freeview We switched the broadband but they do not tell you that you have to cancel the TV separately There is also no simple cancel function With so many better offers for broadband and TV on demand its simply not good value for money

I would avoid Sky Glass at ALL cost

I would avoid Sky Glass at ALL cost the picture quality is Average and the sound is Very Good but at 1 200 it is totally overpriced by a MASSIVE amount Just to rub salt in the wound my TV has recently packed in and I only had it for 2 years 1month The Sky package itself is poor so in my opinion I would definitely stay well clear of this product

We have a CCJ upheld against Sky for

We have a CCJ upheld against Sky for the damage caused to our Sky Glass TV back in September The CCJ was issued to Sky in November as they had failed to respond to the court in time Sky and their legal team continue to dispute the CCJ and have refused to pay up despite the court ordering them to Instead of settling the case and apologising they have instructed their legal team to appeal the CCJ and claim to have tried to contact me to resolve the case They haven t I haven t received a single email or letter from a person other than automated stuff To top things off we cancelled the streaming service when out TV which we owned broke We were out of contract so within our rights to do so Since September we have received monthly emails threatening debt collection for unpaid streaming service fees even though we cancelled When I phone the collections team they always say don t worry we ll sort it as we can see you informed us you were cancelling back in September Unbelievable I can t attach evidence on this review but it is on other Google reviews that I have left for Sky Still a wall of silence

I ve had Sky Glass since May last year

I ve had Sky Glass since May last year It s a waste of money always experiencing faults Doesn t load definitely not getting the features I m charged for I ve not really been watching because it s that bad and my freeview has worked better and as for channels it s nothing but repeat My partner has the same issue I recieved a text about if I cancelled the debit it doesn t cancel the service Is it a mass exodus or threats I m saying to anyone it s is the worst thing to get roped in

Sky Glass has been one of the worst

Sky Glass has been one of the worst decisions I ve made when switching from Sky Q Here s why First the TV itself isn t great quality-wise For the money we re paying I d expect better Yet I find myself having to switch off the power at least once a month to reset it which is frustrating As for the Sky Puck upstairs despite the router being nearby it s plagued with lag and frequent out-of-sync voice issues on the TV It feels like Sky has seriously dropped the ball when it comes to reliability and performance Sky Q was a much better system offering greater stability and quality Unfortunately with Sky Glass the quality just doesn t seem to match the hype For the money we pay Sky really needs to do better
