The website agents are entirely useless I have been on disability since 2012 and absolutely nothing has changed and yet now they find that they overpaid some 300 My spouse s 33 has also been resurrected since they overpaid for three months It s not worth talking with them since none of their information is correct

Depressed
If I could give no star I would The Charlotte NC Social Security phone and in person is truly a miresable experience I m disabled I received benefits since 2008 I worked for in 6-2022 to 1-2023 I recently received an overpayment letter But I didn t make an amount that would fall under gainful employment My benefits are suspended I have filled out every form provided checks several times but I m being told they re working on I fill like I m begging for government cheese The people are not professional don t have access to systems to provide information nor give any concern to resolve your situation It was like this years ago

Poor Customer Service
I spoke with Shannon over the phone a few minutes ago However it took me at least 30 minutes to get a live person over the phone In addition once I got to speak with her She gave me attitude about how to proceed with logging into my online account She advised me to go in person and make an appointment Mind you I would need to access my online account in order to schedule an appointment I don t think they accept walk-ins at the Bridgeport CT SSA office I eventually ended the call because I got frustrated with how dismissive she was being I began to do my own research and figured out how to fix my online account problem myself However I think that SSA should hire people that actually like helping people I m not trying to sound privileged or needy However I think it s very inconsiderate to waste people s time like that Especially when we have no choice but to deal with government services as such I think it s very nasty and rude

Rude and unprofessional
Want to experience rude impatient interruptive customer service agents who could care less about you and are even less informative than their status web page that doesn t provide updates for your application after the first message and says you will get an answer in about 30 days Call Social Security after 60 days they ll be more than annoyed enough to tell you to wait 120 days with more than enough attitude to choke a goat

4 HOURS 6 MINUTES still nothing accomplished
Im trying to help someone fill out application for a disabled adult child because they dont allow those certain applications to be done online you have to make an appointment so I called this morning they said my wait time was 120 Minutes that I can leave my phone number they would call me as I was in queue never received a phone call so I called back waited on the phone for 4 hours and 6 minutes and never got nobody to the phone y all need some help or at least make it were folks can set up appointments online

Do they ever answer
Recording said estimated hold was 15 minutes After 20 minutes it range as though I was being transferred only to get to another recording asking me to continue holding 8 Minutes later it rang again several times like I as being transferred again Only to hear a recording different voice telling me all agents were helping other customers and to call back later and then the line hung up Thanks for wasting my 30 minutes for nothing

Disgusting Disappointing
Where to begin I attempted to apply for help back in 2020 shortly after i was discharged from the hospital with life changing disabilities that continue to plague me to this day They ll send or claim to have sent you documents that never arrive but need to be returned back to them immediately than claim they never received them It even reached the point as to where I d go to the local office and attempt to put the desired documents in their drop box that 99 9 of the time so full and never emptied that you were never able to do so When making an attempt to call them you re usually on hold for over an hour and when you do finally reach someone they regurgitate the same unhelpful rubbish I am till this day awaiting yet another decision but according to their website that will take another year It s a good thing I am receiving help from my local hospital and their charity program because had it not been for them I am fully convinced I would had been in a much worse place In conclusion if you re seeking help for covid related injuries that had changed your life I wouldn t expect any help from the SSA

The Kremlin Might do a Better Job
I m a Rep Payee for my disabled sister s benefit Repeatedly the SSA suspends her benefit for the lamest reasons like her landlord forgetting to cash her rent payment and the money sits in her account Most recently her group home returned SSA s mail to sender and they suspended her again I ve called four times and spent a total of SIX HOURS on hold The first time I spoke to an agent who couldn t find any problem but promised the issue was resolved When at the end of the month my sister s payment was not received I called again Twice I was disconnected after 30 minutes of holding Another time I was on hold for OVER THREE HOURS and finally hung up exasperated Once again I m on hold listening to an endless repetition of mind-numbing messages I am truly ashamed of being an American whenever I deal with SSA and have great pity for all my fellow citizens
