This Company no better than any other
This Company like other Insurance Companies want to insure your home take your money and tell you that they are there for you and list All the things they will be responsible for PROVIDING you NEVER FILE a CLAIM IF you do They hold it against you and worst of all IF YOU have EVER filed a claim in the past They want nothing to do with you To sum it up As long as you are a cash cow to them you are golden Please be advised Find a Company that will ONLY cover CATASTROPHIC Claims That way you will not be inticed to call them for anything short of a national emergency HomeownerInsurance is not for poor people on limited incomes This Company is balking at insuring my home because I made 4 previous calls within 4 years that resulted in two small claim payouts for a grand total of 1500 The other two calls I declined to pursue a claim However because I called to inquire the Companies considered that to be a BLACK mark against me So they are able to REFUSE to insure me Past Claims is not an indicator of future Claims

Trash - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Trash We have been trying to reach the adjuster for a claim update They were non-responsive for over 30days Then today when I finally got a hold of someone they stated that the claim had been closed which should have never been closed in the first place and the Adjuster no longer works for the company Now we have to wait to see if a manager wants to re-open the claim I was not allowed to speak to a manager because all the claims managers FOR THE ENTIRE REGION are in a meeting Terrible service

Do Your Homework When it Comes to Swyfft Insurance
Approximately two years ago 7 12 2021 the annual cost my Homeowners Insurance had gone up so much that I was forced to shop for a new provider I used an insurance broker Great Florida Insurance Aspen Insurance LLC to shop available providers and they referred me to Swyfft Insurance who is apparently another broker because they wrote my policy with a company called Clear Blue Specialty Insurance On 7 13 2021 my HOI policy was written for an annual premium of 1317 00 275 00 in fees which was reasonable at that time The next year the premium was increased to 2220 65 which I accepted and the premium was paid And as of 7 13 2023 Swyfft changed my HOI provider to Topa Insurance Company and increased my premium to 3506 90 yr I tried to cancel my policy in August of 2023 with Swyfft Topa and was told by Great Florida Aspen Insurance that Swyfft would be keeping 50 of my premium for canceling during hurricane season I did cancel the policy because the premium was unreasonably high for the extremely limited coverage I have now received notification from Swyfft LLC that they had indeed kept 1647 00 of my paid premium and it will not be refunded I question the legality of such deceitful practices and would like to understand how Swyfft is getting away with what appears to be common theft As a Floridian I pay some of the highest insurance rates in the country and to have Swyfft Insurance LLC literally steal half of my premium for canceling an overpriced limited coverage policy is nothing short of criminal Here is the information concerning cancellation of the Swyfft Insurance policy Titled Minimum Earned Premium Endorsement b If the policy is canceled at the request of the first Named Insured i If the policy has been in effect any time during the period of June 1 to and including November 30 the premium charged shall be subject to a Minimum Earned Premium of 50 of the gross annual premium including any additional premiums added by endorsement This Minimum Earned Premium is the least amount of premium we shall retain as earned premium regardless of term

Swyfft does not pay claims
I would give - stars if it were possible This company makes up anything they can to prevent from paying legimate claims They will declare your property to be depreciated beyond the amount of the claIm When asked how do you determine the depreciation they have no answer I have an above ground pool that was hit by a tree limb as part of my claim They literally said we do not know how much it will cost to repair the pool so we removed it from the claim These people are thieves DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

PAY ME MY REFUND
I had 2 insurance companies take a payment from my mortgage Swyfft being one of them National Gen being the other Swyfft processed their check before National Gen did and guess what I got my check with National Gen within 7 business days It has now been 3 weeks 15 business days and still no refund from Swyfft which I didnt even mention they were supposed to process my refund last month but they forgot to do so Everytime I call they tell me to wait the 15 business days and STILL NO CHECK

Service or Repair IssuesStatus AnsweredMore infoI submitted a medical claim on 8 12 2024 following hurricane related injury I submitted all the documents required the two adjusters came out and submitted their report to the insurance It is now October 3 and the adjuster keeps giving the run around I have sent multiple emails requesting a tentative timeline and her excuses are 1 Waiting on report she acknowledged she received report 2 Waiting for supervisor to review a month ago it does not take one month to review 3 Hurricane this hurricane has nothing to do with my claim She keeps stalking and its now over 2 months since the claim was filed and she is not responding to emails is acting in bad faith and by law is required to give an answer wiyhin 45 days of the claim being submitted I have provided all documentation they asked and still they refuse to answerBusiness response10 21 2024Ms We have reviewed your complaint and I understand that we have been in contact with you throughout the process of your claim Id like to provide some clarity regarding the status of your claim but we are limited in the amount of information we can share in a public platform such as this Heres a brief summary of where we stand and the actions weve taken so far - Your claim was reported on the evening of August 21 2024 The following morning our desk adjuster contacted you to gather more details and requested documents which you provided We informed you that we would be initiating an investigation with the insured and could not commit to coverage until the investigation was completed - On August 30 2024 a field adjuster was assigned to further assist with our investigation - A site inspection of the property was completed on September 13 2024 and the field adjuster submitted their report on September 27 2024 We are currently moving the claim forward with coverage determinations examination under oath and the resolution timeline We would like the opportunity to go through the details of these steps directly as we can not provide personal information here Please reach out directly to at so we can provide you with additional details surrounding the status of your claim We value your satisfaction and are here to support you throughout this process and we apologize for the delays as we work to finalize your claim Thank you for your patience and understanding This was my initial review and you can see the company s response which is absolute lies They delay and use stall tactics to not pay claims They even had their supposed attorney an bullying and dishonest attorney who told the policy holder your daughter is suing you huh off record and then conducted the EUO which was recorded conveniently which was over two weeks ago and he still has yet to respond They shuffle you form person to person and the they say we retained counsel and you will have to speak to him moving forward Since they forced me to obtain counsel they will hear from him instead They flat out lie and purposely delay and then get a lawyer thinking they can deter from a legitimate claim I will continue to write bad reviews On a side note it is now 90 days since the claim was filed
