I sent an email cancelling my account after second month Never heard from account manager explained I did second job and could answer the phone all the time yet still called I have not paid my account due to lack of leads and them not doing what they said they would Today phone call from a man who was really aggressive and called me a liar about cancelling account Very rude and abusive and said he wanted the outstanding payment When I advised I cancelled he told me I was a liar Leave this company alone The don t help with your business in fact they do very little apart from trying bullying techniques and being abusive

Claim they increase revinue within a set time but failed to do so The stats they where sending out where not climbing at all when signing up with them if no increase for multiple month like mine was there would be a refund but never did I get When I realised I was being scammed for a single paragraph as a monthly update on the listing costing nearly 80 a month I decided they where incompetent to up hold there sales pitch of money back for lack of improvement I stopped them in there tracks Now they harras nearly everyday on several different number They are sharks avoid them

Try and cancel your subscription with them and see what happens to your Google My Business page They go out of their way to get your Google profile suspended Also threatened me over the phone when I wanted to cancel saying I would regret it Now I know why both my Google profiles have been suspended and I know who is behind it Please be careful guys

After being hounded by these guys I finally took the call They claimed to be Google initially wow Then they started to promise services they can t guarantee e g ranking no 1 in a specific area The proximity plans they offer are impossible to deliver that s not how Google works - you can t pick an area without paying for ads We ll stick with our agency who actually know what they are talking about and are marginally cheaper Cowboys

Definitely DON T RECOMMEND this company First they charged me every month for 6 months with no results When I saw the raports they did absolutely nothing I didn t have even one call from costumers I was literally invisible on Google and after cancellation of our contract they blocked my business Google account They are a huge time and money wasters Don t trust them they just want to take money with promises at the beginning that if you re not happy then they make a refund Lie They never give you back your money I m extremely disappointed and because of these people I don t trust to honest others people

Your time with the Directory Guys will most likely start with some persistent phone calls claiming to be from Google talking about how they will improve your rankings on Google Google Maps It took a direct question 2 calls later to ascertain that it wasn t actually Google I was speaking to I eventually signed up and 1 week later still hadn t heard from a Business Manager who was supposed to call immediately 1 month later and I ve sent 2 emails which were never responded to finally got a Business Manager after I phoned them they ve already had a payment and nothing has been done In fact they even advised me I don t have a Google page when I already did I tried to cancel which is very hard and they talked me into a discounted service which I kept for a few months They don t really tell you what they re doing but they send you a report once a month and mine seemed very suspicious - they have screenshots of your Google positions but they are totally inaccurate at times and typing in the same search words they are showing does not give the same results When I asked them about this they said that the rankings can change quickly and that Google rotates rankings but sometimes they showed me as position 1 in search results when actually I wasn t in the top 10 when I searched the same terms with all location services etc disabled I decided to cancel as they re essentially providing a service which is simple for anyone vaguely aware of SEO - to do this I had to send an email wait for a week to pass with no response by which time a new payment is due then experience 2 high pressure sales calls where they continually slash the price and are very reluctant to cancel They re friendly just very persistent and I don t like that way of doing business All in all I feel they are a bit inept rather than dishonest and since they re set up with a high pressure sales structure I wouldn t recommend them

Staff helpful but find I need to chase them to ensure that the adverts are on every day I feel they should be monitoring this not me

They phoned our company said they were Google Directory and promised us a top three ranking in Google searches All sounded great they had all our details and it seemed easy enough to set up Luckily for me the lovely friendly woman I spoke to was new and able to waive my setup fee We instantly had a call from the bank who stopped the company debit card payment marked up as fraudulent Upon receipt of the confirmation email from the directory guys my manager rang them to cancel the verbal agreement She was unable to speak to anyone at the company who could help There was no contact name or account manager mentioned in any of the emails and an email reply came back as undeliverable I had the call from their Big Sales Guy later on after a long wait I can t fault the abilities of their sales department He didn t deny that we were told they were Google Directory

After four months I had no change in my listing and had LESS enquiries than normal My partner realised that my google account said that I only do work within a 4k distance so maybe this was why Anyhow I feel like I have paid 300 and achieved nothing I got emails saying they had set me up a google account even though my business already has one etc it just felt like constant miscommunication and disconnection - and you never talk to the same person twice Wouldn t bother with them
