Fraudulent company To be avoided

I wish I had seen the 1 review on this site before renting out my flat in Paris to Upperkey Sadly my experience matches exactly the actual income is 4 to 5 times below UpperKey s own projections and the average market price The payments come from a third party company Several weeks after the end of the contract I am still unable to obtain any invoices allowing me to check the gross income and the subsequent deductions of fees and commissions My 40m2 flat in the best district of Paris balcony and recent renovations has been during the busiest summer months AND during the Olympics for a gross average allegedly of 80 euros per day Leaving me with about 55-60 net after commission The average market price in Paris for that kind of flat is at least 300 day ANY summer to say nothing of the Olympics The communication which was very short of harassing before I signed the contract switched to radio-silence afterwards There is no way of obtaining any information or get them to return your calls or emails This is embezzlement I am filing a law suit against them

Owners Upperkey is not a trustable company They will never match the previsional incomes delivered to you By far As a matter of fact apart of the 25 on your rent they will subrent to their subsidiary CityapartStay registered in Malta which will also cash at least 25 Over all your real incomes will be 40 of your expectations In my case the budget presented to me was 180 night and the reality 69 And you will never get a statement showing their real incomes enabling you to control the deductions Last be careful with 5 stars evaluation there are more than doubtful Their marketing is efficient

Avoid Avoid Avoid As an owner it was a major disappointment and many sales promises 1 5 months was enough to pull the plug Prime season in October November in Dubai JBR supposedly booked at less than 80 night for 4 bedroom 10pers apartment But worst is the complete blindness and Zero transparency on what s booked only calendar dates or rates or which channel even with their statements summary simply showing owners revenue and dates They promise and claim owners portal but nothing to speak for I guess didn t do my homework to find out it s a 3-person operation in Dubai Main focus is France UK vacation home rentals Lesson learned and hope others do their homework Note trust companies who are verified and operate as Airbnb partners as hosts others are many
