TRAFALGAR STOLE A LOT OF MONEY FROM MY ELDERLY MOTHER

The disgusting people at trafalgar are thieves My elderly mother booked a trip in 2020 and spent a LOT of money on the trip Covid hits So trafalgar opts to take my elderly mothers money and say thanks No trip No returned money Just a nice f you to my elderly mother 3 YEARS OF FIGHTING TRAFALGAR IS A HORRIBLE EVIL COMPANY

Poor Customer Service

Customer service is terrible I have been calling for 2 weeks with insane amount of time on hold just to be disconnected I have emailed numerous times with the exact tour that I would like to book with no return email

I actually did not travel with Trafalgar but wanted to share what little experience I did have I signed up for a tour coming up this summer I was quoted a price for the tour including a single supplement I paid my deposit and independently booked my Business class air travel to Europe Then I convinced someone else to join the tour After all this I was told they would not honor my single supplement Now I am left with air travel to Europe and no tour The single supplement is a deal breaker I have traveled to every continent except Antarctica I have never felt as fleeced by any company as I do with Trafalgar Needless to say Trafalgar is on my no-fly list

Back from our trip with Trafalgar Scotland s Highlands Islands and Cities Our accommodations were maybe two star and not designed for individuals over 50 as most had no elevators Rooms were very small and not really designed for two individuals Our guide for the tour was very knowledgeable on the subject matter but was not responsive to individual requests Our driver was excellent On some days we spend a excessive time on the bus or ferries getting from one location to another Tour description does not fully explain the amount and difficult in walking required for this tour

Absolutely worst tour companyOn a recent trip to Portugal I fell on the second day no report was given to me for my insurance company even when I asked for it Wellness director was not worth her being on the tourOptionals were shoved down your throat and if you did not go the travel tour Director made it known to others that you weren t going And he made it bad for you on the tour Optionals very expensive and the local tour guides were mediocre at bestFood was pitiful especially at the locations where they said dinner was includedSolo travelers were made to feel a second class citizens getting bad spots in restaurants and being asked to move so couples can sit togetherNever ever recommend Tralfagar to anyone single or a couple or friends

got Trafalgar trip insurance and still waiting for refund

Our first Trafalgar travel never happened Plane trip was cancelled not their fault and the airline had no way to get us to our tours for days Trip was cancelled and we are still waiting almost 3 months to see if we are getting a refund Airline refunded money to Trafalgar 2 months ago and we are still waiting Any travel system who says phone hold for 3 hours possible is scary no word from company and still waiting

I would never do another Trafalgar tour

I would never do another Trafalgar tour again I just recently completed a 12 day European whirlwind tour with the tour guide Caroline Not only was she condescending and rude but also quite belittling I had informed the company of my dietary requirements when completeing my registration but I had to constantly ask staff if there was anything dairy and meat free for me to eat The optional experiences didn t feel very optional at all as Caroline pressured me into doing them There were a few I didn t want to do and would have much preferred doing my own thing but Caroline responded quite rudely stating what will you do then just stay in the hotel because everything is far from the hotel On top of that the fine print mentioned that IF we were satisfied with the service only then were we expected to tip Both my cousin and I paid for our end of trip transfers but Caroline pulled us aside and made us pay tips otherwise she wouldn t take us on the bus to the airport Honestly apart from the fabulous group I was counting down the days

Hotels were 1 star No air conditioner old dated some had no stairs others were just gross Like drink some wine and fall in bed so you don t notice the grunge It seemed unorganized and chaotic Not enough variety The included meals had no choice We usually ended up having to pay out of pocket for meals after the free ones The only redeeming quality was the coach driver

Just finished a Croatia and Slovenia

Just finished a Croatia and Slovenia tour The hotels and coach were ok BUT to really see the destinations we went to you had to take the options which are really over priced for what you get If you don t take the options you are left at the hotel and have to make your own way Included meals were way below par with limited choices and the meals were rushed Would never recommend this company
