Not a UK company misleading website unfulfilled promises and unhelpful staff Ordered a hot tub accessory Large-ish circa 200 from tubhome co uk believing this to be a company based in the UK Saw absolutely nothing on website to suggest otherwise Birmingham phone number and there was an estimated delivery of 3-5 days Queried eta of order after a few days to be told delivery was in fact 7-14 working days as they are based in Spain I complained as this was not advertised on the website and I was concerned about the extra unexpected delay and potential customs charges etc Asked to cancel the order in light of this and was told we would be charged for return postage if we did so Eventually after many belligerent and unhelpful emails from their staff we were assured in writing several times that this would not happen as they had an apparent special relationship with UK customs and they pay all necessary fees It was also revealed that in fact we had been given incorrect info - that delivery of our item should be 3-5 days as originally advertised When the delivery was overdue I then received a letter from Parcelforce to say they had picked up my item from the Border and HMRC had levied Import VAT which needed to be paid before delivery I forwarded this to the company very upset and then called their apparent Birmingham number whose staff did not believe Parcelforce was a real parcel carrier said the charges were nothing to do with them and was prepared to do nothing to help me More concerned that I had not put my name on my email and she wasn t able to view the image of my letter from Parcelforce Only was prepared to send a query to their carrier department then hung up I have heard nothing from them since Currently without item or a refund Absolutely avoid not what they say they are not a UK company not interested in their customers give promises they do not intend to keep with rude and unhelpful staff Additional review as of Friday 05 05 23 Amazing this rubbish company clearly believes it is fine to email in a rude manner ALMOST A YEAR after I have left this review and had to get my bank involved in order to get the refund They replied with a load of untrue nonsense that apparently justifies them being rubbish and once again offered no apologies or appropriate reason for them misrepresenting themselves as being uk based their about us section contained no address information at all when I made this purchase This is after might I add they tried to get my review taken down for being fraudulent by demanding trustpilot insist on seeing several forms of proof that I had made the purchase This was clearly in an attempt to make themselves look better Luckily I was able to provide all that trustpilot needed to maintain my review being live and asked them to investigate this blatant attempt to silence someone who they have mistreated using trustpilots systems I would suggest in future if you wanted to do better Tubhome 1 don t pretend your a U K company 2 provide accurate shipping information including that now Brexit has happened customs charges may be levied 3 deal with people who are concerned about all the above in a civilised and professional manner 4 provide a refund or return when requested in line with peoples statutory rights 5 check your facts before replying to reviews and 6 try respond to reviews in professional and timely manner not leaving them until almost a year has passed Well done all round - you certainly convinced me you are not a waste of space inept and swindling organisation NOT

Avoid Avoid Avoid Based in spain no address called the number and spoke a lady who was very rude when I asked a few questions on how vat is not charged by customs on arrival in the Uk I told her their reviews are poor so how can you reassure me before I spend 2500 on a jacuzzi bath to which she replied it s not my problem It all sounds like a total scam they have awful reviews on a Spanish review site too

Totally avoid we purchased a Jacuzzi tub to put indoors It was a mess coming into the country Now we have some issues with the Todd We have been trying to get it resolved for nearly 3 months Now we have been waiting for a technician to come in for the last week and They keep on cancelling there is no constant updates They are not professionals It is an absolute disgrace to spend that much money and not get a proper service and there is still guarantee on our top but we are not getting the service to get it repaired I would totally suggest not to get invested with this company and also they say they are based in the UK but the products come from Spain and when you have to deal with any issues with them you deal with the Spanish to English team

Horrible Horrible experience Horrible Horrible experience You can justify as much as you want We were supposed to have another technician come to see the tub as the first technician disappeared in thin air he never showed up or responded to his phone I am under the impression the company is waiting for the warranty to run out so that they do not have to send someone to fix the tub Seriously the technician was supposed to come today after 4 pm it is now 7 pm and no sign of the guy and again he is not picking up It is absolutely disgraceful as we have a baby and our house is upside down with this situation

Avoid avoid avoid avoid Here goes the 8 months of hell I have had to endure I purchased the bath in April 2023 when installed the bath was leaking I was promised a technician from their team would attend I was then told they couldn t get anyone out I advised I am happy to receive a replacement and they could collect the bath tub that is faulty They advised they would not be doing that as it is too much of a big cost to them Never mind me Lol I paid over 1850 for the bath tub I therefore advised I would be happy to contact a plumber to attend and can send the invoice to them which they agreed The Plumber attended and said the bath is broken and this is not a plumbing issue this would require a specialist technician as the fault is with the jet not a plumbing issue I fed this back to them and was constantly fobbed off eventually they advised they were going to get a specialist technician from their company to attend I thought great Little did they know they contacted the same plumber in my area who had already been out to the house and they asked him to attend to our bath tub and advise he is a technician The very honest plumbing company contacted me straight away to make us aware At this point I requested I wanted the bath uplifted and explained I have been more than fair and now it s time for a refund I was told NO They refused to collect and we re not refunding me At this stage I had no choice but thankfully I paid with a credit card and under section 75 had to claim back through my credit card in this time I had to order another bath from another company which is reputable as I have a young son and we needed a bath But I had to keep their bath as they refused to collect it as they really believed they were going to win this case Space for keeping this was also a massive issue Eventually the credit card ruled in our favour just last week and we won the claim only then did tub home contact me immediately and told me they were collecting the bath I had no contact from them for over 6months They now have it back but they were even trying to dictate about how we send it back to them and even had the audacity to send me an email to make it look like they have refunded me I genuinely believe they are going to wrap this bath back up and sell it on I am leaving this review as people deserve to know how bad this business is and this caused a significant amount of stress I will never ever purchase or recommend this company and I hope people read the already bad reviews including mine before considering making a purchase Update 10 12 2023 tub home have responded to this review I Ieft and all I can say is I have never heard so many lies they are doing everything to cover up our poor experience we suffered all I can say is we won our claim and in order to win that we had to provide evidence for us to win which we have every piece of evidence and would indicate that my review was a true reflection of the awful experience It also speaks volumes that you have very negative reviews on this platform detailing similar experiences Tub home shame on use

If I could give 0 stars I would Do not buy from here Having spent over 1200 on a bath that is porous meaning it cannot get clean a water jet just came off one time whilst in the bath without the jets on I ve been dealing with these rude people since June when the bath had only recently been installed their tone is accusatory dismissive and just plain unlawful The bath is at fault I ve asked for someone to come and see this but they just want to try and blame myself Ive been cleaning baths for over 20 years with no problem moreover with this being a whirlpool bath I have followed the guidance for cleaning to the letter I am disgusted with this company and I will receive what I am entitled by law too

Stay away from this company They re not based in the UK and are a total scam Selling products that are flimsy and not fit for purpose When you try to return items you ll need to ship then ask the way to Malaga in Spain which will cost you dearly Absolute joke and customer service is terrible
