"I love the options but "

I am a loyal member I love the options I get through Classpass The website is tough to navigate though and the chat is awful The rep did not even read my question and instead answered a question I did not ask There is no phone number They need to get a phone number and better chat operators If they are outsourcing to people with language issues they need to change that I am an ethnic woman and do not mean to be prejudiced but you need people who can read English and care enough to read your question

"Mostly good experience"

I m kind of surprised at the amount of one star reviews I guess classpass has gone downhill I started using it right around the time it launched around 2015 or so 100 mo for basically unlimited fitness classes was amazing and I had a ton of fun with it I ended up canceling after a couple years due to an increasingly hectic schedule I recently changed careers and have a lot more free time so I signed up again I m not surprised that the pricing structure has changed dramatically but at this point it seems like it s basically just adding an extra step to registering for classes The prices work out about the same as registering directly The class cancellation fee is a little ridiculous I think the exact time frame depends on the studio but I had to cancel a class about 8 hrs beforehand due to getting food poisoning and I was charged 14 because it wasn t 12 hours before For something like intense fitness classes you really need to be able to cancel closer to the time You never know when you re going get to sick or twist an ankle stepping off a curb or whatever and you can t workout like that I probably won t continue my membership next month just because I don t really see the point when I can sign up for things myself and not have to calculate credits in my head and deal with the cancellation fee

"NOT A FREE TRIAL but great as paid"

UPDATED The free trial allows you to book one class and won t allow you to book more without paying unless you want to go to the gym I wanted to try out some Pilates and was only able to book one studio As it happened the studio cancelled the class I booked and now I can t book any others under the free trial If you use it just know it won t be free Note I have since upgraded to pay and it s great Would be a 5 star review if the make it a true free trial or market in a way that aligns with the actual product so it doesn t feel deceptive

"The sign up process is the worst and "

The sign up process is not seamless and it was hard to get help from the customer service Just copying and pasting pre-written sentences They suggest free trial which is inaccurate

"Deceptive Promos"

As a user - the app allows you to go to classes at affordable prices However be aware of their promos as they re deceptive and unclear Not a company you can trust

"The phishermen are out there"

Like so many others I got an invoice purporting to be from them with an automatic unspecified credit card payment coming for an annual subscription I don t have because I d never heard of them until today I contacted them and to their credit they quickly replied that the email was a phishing attempt

"Works alright in Amsterdam"

Works alright in Amsterdam NL Strong competition for memberships in this city and ClassPass offer variety at relatively discounted prices via credits Courses booked last minute use more credits BUT Classpass s rollover system works against you if you book in advance Be mindful of your monthly renewal date and use all your credits within that cycle WITHOUT booking classes past that date ahead of time into the next cycle or ClassPass will essentially charge you double credits for the same booking Late cancellation no show are very expensive Otherwise good app

"Cancellation fee won t get refunded after testing positive for COVID"

I have loved classpass the classes membership options and flexibility is amazing But unfortunately I ve ran into trouble with their customer service After being a local customer of class pass for years using the maximum credit allowance I am incredibly unhappy at not being refunded my cancellation fee after testing positive for COVID It s upsetting and I feel something they would be more understanding of in a pandemic

Got an email that I got a free month to use Classpass I book my classes and all of a sudden the free month is canceled because it was detected I ve had a free month trial before Uh Okay Figure your stuff out It s a great concept but you guys need to fix your customer service

"The program is great but the support team is poor"

The program is great I would give them a higher rating if their support team was good If you e-mail them you only get an auto-response someone will get back with you Still waiting 2 days later The online chat is not worth your time They must be reading from a script with the most generic answer If it s not in the FAQ dont bother wasting your time
