We have just come off the phone to Lloyds Bank Travel Insurance having spoken to them regarding coverage of a pre-existing condition Can t praise them highly enough They have changed their insurers who previously were appalling to deal with but this time we spoke to a courteous proficient woman who was not a box-ticker This glowing review is not based on the outcome as one of us was fortunate and the other not so

"Decent Reliable Online Banking"
Been with Lloyds for 7 years now I only use online banking so can t say what it s like in the branches It s great for normal online banking you can sign up to Club Lloyds and get free cinema tickets each year You can keep increasing your credit limit very easily in the app and now there is a credit score feature which tells you how to improve Don t use it for different currencies - get a revolut card for thatHaven t tried out their savings accounts - I d recommend using MSE to find better ones

"Great service in Sheffield City branch"
Very rare that I ever visit a Lloyds branch and they looked completely over run in the remaining Sheffield city branch BUT I was lucky enough for Donna Highfield to sort my ISA Shares transfer which took some doing and she chased it through over a 6 week period including ringing to update me 3 times until resolved A good advert for Lloyds in difficult times

"25 years plus with no issues"
This is the first Bank I actually chose myself and I ve never regretted it I was an early adopter of online banking which got more convenient with introduction of the app Easy to see transactions and transfer money while a few minutes is all it takes to open savings accounts The ability to see the details of replacement cards before they arrive and check pin numbers is nice to have Things like virtual cards would be a nice feature if they can add it in future The other reviews here puzzle me Do people think the world should be frozen in Amber to suit Luddites Why traipse to a branch to open a savings account or credit card when an online application takes mere minutes Are they functionally illiterate

"Lesley was brilliant "
I ve had some issues with Lloyds previously and even a couple which are ongoing However sometimes it s nice to be able to say thank you and well done I had a few bits to cover today with a lady called Lesley Baird on the phone and I couldn t be happier with the level of customer service I received She answered my questions spent time checking things which were pertinent to the queries explained everything in a way which left me feeling informed rather than condescended to Spoke to me with respect and listened carefully to what I was trying to explain myself Someone at Lloyds should take the recording of that phone call and use it as a training resource

Excellent customer service in Royal Leamington Spa branch I didn t get the lady s name think she is the brach manager and of German Austrian origin Her approach is personalised She has learned her customer names and is clearly there to make the process as simple as possible Keep up the great work If only all your branches were at the same standard
