"Breed Discrimination"
So far I have submitted two things for my 6 month old Boston terriers history Neither of the vet visits had anything to do regarding his breathing One was for his third set of vaccinations and the second was for a sore he had on his sheath Because I had general questions about the breed and Brachycephalic breeds the vet wrote in the notes possible elongated palate This simple note was the reason for Pets Plus Us to exclude anything do do with his breathing Any Brachycephalic breed has a possible elongated palate They definitely discriminate against Brachycephalic breeds When I called to discuss it the person on the phone would not discuss it because they did not have the ability to comment on it and I was referred to the member portal to appeal it Again this is not an easy thing to do on the portal and again I am unable to speak to someone who can explain this to me This insurance company is a joke and vet care has gone up exponentially because of these companies and vets being able to claim through them

"Absolutely the worst insurance company "
Absolutely the worst insurance company ever They basically are thieves The CEO of this company is a effing thieve and all of the employees who take their pay cheque home are thieves Every effing excuse not to pay out the claim The guy I spoke to on the phone sounded like he was stoned in bed while I was trying to get answers for my dog that needs a knee surgery

All the reviews here are 1000 true This company is dead set on finding loop holes and ways to not cover your claims Not only that but they have the Gaul to tell you to just apply for a reconsideration to which there is no use because they will find yet another loop hole to not pay out your claims I am dead set on reporting them in every way I can On top of the fact that I will also be reaching out to as many media companies as possible as the scamming and incredibly dishonest workings of this company need to be exposed Do not walk RUN away from this company Go with anyone but them Literally ANYONE I hope this saves many ppl the heartache and stress this company has caused countless other people

It would be zero stars if it was an option Literally the biggest rip off I paid into this for 2 years and was never reimbursed a red cent Final straw was end of November when my dog ended up with an ear infection Took him to the vet and when answering questions mentioned he had been to a grooming appointment a few days before I ended up with a 375 vet bill and zero coverage from Pet Plus I immediately cancelled the policy and signed up with Fetch

"Avoid this company "
1-800 number is not answered Emails are no longer being responded to Terrible customer service I had a claim processed on Dec 27 23 and still waiting for payment even though they apparently processed the direct deposit two times Total runaround trying to get payment for claims Now having to start formal complaint process with Ombudsman Avoid this company

"Run don t walk away from this company"
1 Update my opinion and review of the company still stands However I was impressed with the professionalism of the Customer Support person I spoke with after I asked the Operator to call the 1800 number 2 After reading these reviews and the responses from the PetsPlus company I immediately tried to cancel my new policy The 1 800 number for Canada does not work - tried 3 times over the last 10 days 3 emails sent over 1 and a half weeks have gone unanswered However the first payment for the policy was withdrawn from my bank account 2 days after I set up the policy Clearly money not service and the health of pets is the company priority despite all the sugary sentiments expressed about love of pets

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS PET INSURANCE COMPANY Look at all the 1 star reviews Their 1-800 number isn t even answered We can not even get an answer regarding our dog that requires emergency surgery They promise everything and deliver nothing Again see all the reviews We need to stop supporting this illegitimate company Pure fraudAnyone interested in class action lawsuit

"The worst insurance you can ever get"
The worst insurance you can ever get Our beloved pet got admitted to the hospital and hospital bill turned out to be over 9K and our insurance reimbursement was only 1 800 00 Considering that we have been a loyally client for 15 years To all pet owners please do not get this insurance It is a total disaster

"Negative 5 stars - DO NOT RECOMMEND"
We started our claim in May 2023 for a basic vet visit tests antibiotics and retest It s Sept 5th and still no payment because they keep messing up Worst pet insurance broker we have ever dealt with Just don t bother As it s now Sept 6th and they just posted their canned concerned response below while STILL not putting my payment in my account

"Do not use this company "
Do not use this company They will never reimburse a claim They will string you along for months I had 20 emails asking for resubmission of my dogs name the print was too small a word was missing etc etc etc They asked for my bank information to pay the claim and then they deny it They never answer your calls If you finally get through and ask to speak to a supervisor you are told they will return your call in 15 business day They all work from their couch so it will hard to get back the customer They are a horrible company
