Really poor experience
Really poor experience would not recommend Multiple issues summarised as - 1Z lie about where they re sending items from They advertised on their website it would be dispatched from their EU warehouse but then proceeded to send from Taiwan big Customs implications charge for me - Poor communication and unwillingness to assist with customer support I think English may not be fully understood as they ended up stating one thing in an email and then doing another thing - Cancelled my shipment without telling me even after I d paid DHL Custom charges When queried had a total disregard for the impact on their customer - Poor service unwilling to try and compensate or assist a customer after a pretty monumental mess up on 1Z s end To summarise just order from a reseller if you re not based in Taiwan If the item happens to arrive mine didn t then based on what I ve seen I d have no confidence with after sales support

Poor quality parts break in less than 2 years
I ve had the k-max for less than 2 years and parts are breaking I got in touch and they blamed me and refused to accept responsibility for design flaws yet there are many people complaining about all the same problems on Reddit The issue isn t that the parts break it s their attitude and system for resolving them - first blame you and then charge you a fortune to get the parts from their depot in Taiwan they don t let anyone else sell them - so a simple ball for the handle ends up costing 100 after their very expensive shipping customs and duties the processing fee of the postal company for those duties which would be 0 if they handled it etc Basically if you think you are buying from a modern progressive company that cares about your happiness think again Thankfully there are new alternatives out there that are even better - I even saw an Italian product with a flat burr for not much more than the kmax

High quality grinders from these friendly engineering coffee nerds
I own two of 1ZPresso s JX Pro hand grinders work home They are really well engineered feel nice in the hand and by all accounts are up there in quality with grinders more than twice their price like the Commadante or Kinu M47 I did have an issue with one of the grinders The kind of thing where fractions of millimeters are involved and you could be easily dismissed -- but if you re a coffee nerd and grinding for espresso it can make a real difference And they fully understood and paid for the grinder to get shipped back for adjustments They seem like really genuine people who take pride in their products so I can t say enough good about them after my experience

1Zpressso has an excellent high-quality vs price relationship I highly recommend this hand grinder for you a coffee lover who enjoys mild coffees I have bought three 1Zpresso hand grinders K-Plus K-Ultra and ZP6 All of them are good build and you grind a lot of coffee without wear

These grinders are a cut above the rest Great longevity and build quality from the engineers at 1ZPresso I will be using my Q2s for travel and purchasing a K-Ultra for daily use as it puts my electric grinder to shame
