I think generous return policy needs to be defined It s 2021 in a pandemic and you expect customers to pay full price to return People who are avoiding buying products in person due to the pandemic My items cost 256 and to return was 180 If I bought from Amazon Macy or any other store it would be free one click returns Even if it was or was not defective it doesn t work but it might be the wrong track type I am not entirely sure that s absurd Yes I didn t read your return policy before but no one does I plan on detailing my experience in your reviews and online This is a joke I m fully confident my credit card will reimburse me but I don t want others falling victim to your scams You will never be able to compete with other retailers with these petty scams and fine print

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service poor website with misleading information I shopped for a desk and their inventory data was wrong Then I called to confirm when the actual order will be delivered and their customer service was rude and had no information I looked up the company and saw poor reviews sadly too late DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE A SCAM

I should have come here to check reviews first Placed an order for a wall shelf they advertised it as in stock quick ship Lies They took my money and then sent me an email stating Delay in shipping due to supply chain Then an email with a shipping confirmation with fed ex tracking number The tracking number does not belong to my order I contacted fed ex they confirmed what I saw on their tracking web page it is indeed a package from a completely different vendor going to a completely different person in Canada I call them and always get their VM I filed a dispute through pay pal to be refunded my money as this is not a good way to business

Bad customer service
I used their chat to ask a maintenance question for one of their products After a 2-day wait they told me to look it up on the internet or contact the manufacturer myself Just like that very brusquely After I told them their customer service attitude left something to be desired I got a snippy response Meanwhile I did contact the manufacturer and received a response within 10 minutes with the name of a product I could get on Amazon that would solve the problem

the tech staff was completely uninformed take it apart with a butter knife he said it won t break BTW the wiring on the lamp was also defective and would not power-up Meanwhile the return process for my 700 credit and the related email back and forth was a scam Hoping I would overlook the lack of an AmEx credit their confirmation email on the refund took 58 days In most cases a CC company will not dispute a charge over sixty days from order date They faked cooperation by offering the refund but never process it VERY Sleazy AmEx looked out for me re-opened the case and got me the credit

I ordered a rug on October 25th that was listed as AVAILABLE and Immediate Delivery They charged it to my credit card that same day Today is November 30th and it has still not been delivered and nobody can give me info or a reason as to why it has taken over a month

Classic bait and switch with the return policy They say free shipping BUT if you actually return the item not only do you have to pay for the return yourself the cost of the outbound shipping is actually deducted from the refund Yes it s stated in their return policy but it s actually 6 bullet points down Why not state that upfront And customer service is hard to get on the line Long hold time and sometimes you have to leave a message which does not get returned

I ordered a credenza from 2Modern com at a cost of 2 374 15 which included a 250 00 shipping charge based on my zip code After I made payment I was contacted by 2Modern com that I would be charge additional 1 135 68 for shipping or they would cancel my order Their justification was that I live in Hawaii If this company cannot ship at the advertised rate then they need to update their website to reflect the actual costs or restrict shipping locations I will not be ordering from 2Modern com in the future

This company does not disclose shipping dates and thus will take your order and your money on a product they do not plan on shipping to you until 4 months later They also do not answer their customer support line or emails Yet they have no problem charging you immediately for your purchase
