A Bright Spot in a Bad Situation

It seems very rare in this day and age that positive customer service interactions occur but Carmen and Bruce from AA went above and beyond for me related to a customer service issue with loan prodiver Affirm Carmen went as far as getting on a three-way call with Affirm and me to resolve the issue although Affirm just hung up on us and Bruce her supervisor helped further with follow up calls and emails

Great Experience

We recently flew on American Airlines to Turks and Caicos via Dallas I don t normally do a lot of reviews but my wife and I were so impressed with them that I had to give them credit American isn t our usual airline because in our small market it s not always the one that has the most desirable flight schedules but in this instance it was and I m so glad we had a chance to experience this vacation with them It was my 50th Birthday and we were looking forward to a great trip The flight attendants were ALL so nice They were courteous friendly and very interactive They made us feel so welcome One of them asked where we were going and if it was a special occasion I mentioned my Birthday and the flight attendant went out of her way to make certain we had a wonderful flight experience She even announced my Birthday over the intercom when we touched down in Turks to have everyone wish me a Happy Birthday The final part of the trip went just as well on our return home The only issue we had was that my baggage was pretty damaged Normally I would just go home with the bag and blow it off My wife however was not going to do that and insisted that we go to the American desk and ask for it to be fixed because it was pretty bad I reluctantly agreed and she submitted a claim I told her I would be shocked if anything happened and she said that in a week we would know because they said that s how long it would take Well today our brand new suitcase arrived I can t believe that they did that for me I m overwhelmed with their level of customer service Thank you so much for such an amazing trip and for making our baggage issue a non-event We will be customers again for sure

Flight delay due to engine related issues

Thank you American airlines for keeping us safe on our travels not allowing pilots to fly any aircraft that oppose any issue I took flight from Indianapolis going to Charlotte I was delayed for my connection flight to Charlotte American airlines make sure that me and my 6-year-old kid had somewhere safe to sleep and food to eat thank you for a wonderful experience I truly appreciate it I don t know what I would have done probably sleep at the airport until my flight tomorrow I appreciate it

I absolutely love this company they helped me out so much I had booked with Thomas Cook because they were NOT helpful I couldn t get hold of them for weeks on end And when I did the advice was the wrong advice I was at my wits end and decided to to go through to the airline directly which was American Airlines They was absolutely fantastic they helped me out with all my queries very quickly and told me what I needed to do saved my so much stress I m still waiting for Thomas Cook to get back to me regarding my issues and I have just got back off holiday When did fly out with the AA staff were so lovely love the aeroplane and the food was gorgeous too I would definitely fly AA again Thank you to all

Just travelled to the USA from the Uk

Just travelled to the USA from the Uk and returned 2 weeks later Although covid issues caused some delays at the airport AA web site and the verify app made the experience less painful Flight staff were excellent and polite and made the journey as comfortable as possible After an absence of 3 years since our last visit to family in the USA due to covid the whole experience was overall good Thank you AA
