ARG Able Roofs and Gutters Ltd - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This company put a flyer through my letterbox claiming to be able to carry out all aspects of property maintenance I needed some work done on my carport roof and asked them to do it During their work they tried to persuade me to allow them to carry out numerous other work which I declined considering them to be unnecessary As an example they quoted 1300 to replace ten feet of guttering which I had done later by a reputable contractor for 200 On my declining they upped and left without completing the work on the car port Stupidly I had paid them in cash in advance They have since refused to give me a receipt They claim to be a limited company but are not registered at Companies House I have of course reported them to HMRC and to Trading Standards The company consists of a father son and one or two employees they are essentially not only incompetent but also dishonest On no account employ them
