They just don t care
There is no way of contacting management outside of a call center I ve been trying to speak to management for 3 weeks regarding a major error on part of Accredo My son has been patient for almost 2 years and having him as a patient earns Accredo upwards of 13k per month yet no one has enough time or care to return my phone call We will be leaving Accredo for a smaller pharmacy that has time to treat us as valued customers

This place is a nightmare
Like the other reviewers if I could give negative stars I would Every month is a new issue I spend hours of my time when I m already chronically exhausted and in pain begging for a resolution to things that shouldn t be a problem There is no one point of contact and escalation paths are basically just shuffling you sideways This last month they forgot to let me know that a week earlier my insurance requested patient level authorization which of course meant I was then scrambling around the holidays to try to manage their mistake It s a nightmare

Rigid in procedures Stuck in the 20th century no online pharmacey allowed Prescription renewals made by calls from random phone numbers so you wont pick up restricted hours to call back No Text ordering WTF These jokers don t give a fecal turd about the customer service angle As long as the ins payouts keep rolling in to there bloated corporation You d think they would get the message NO

This is why people want to commit heinous crimes against others in the healthcare field
This company needs help Had my medication shipped as I forced to use certain pharmacies for specialty medications Gave my insurance manufacturer coupon for the medication and was told I had zero copay They shipped the medication in July and in December I have a bill for 1300 Called myself to make sure it was covered through insurance and they said that they needed a prior authorization on the medication I work in the healthcare field and at the doctor s office that wrote rx so I did the prior auth myself to find that this medication needs to be run through my medical insurance Called my insurance and they call accredo and got the word that they would bill under medication Another month another bill for 1300 I am literally on the phone right now with Sabrina who seems competent and awaiting her research of my issue They kept tell me they were running it thru BCBS of AZ and I have BCBS of TX They then tried to run it again and it says that I am not active which is true but had that coverage during that time of service PS the billing dept cannot change your insurance information on file but then has to be transferred to patient advocacy I hope that I don t have to live the rest of my life on hold while Sabrina finds the answers Wish me luck

I am also giving a 1 Star because you can t give anything less 5 and 1 2 years ago I had a Liver Transplant This requires taking an Anti-Rejection Drug Today is January 23 2025 I have been trying to get my Medication for 23 days and still haven t received my Medication I take my last dose tomorrow and after that I will go into Rejection They were filing My Claims the wrong way and I continuously got Denials I was told that My Medication would be Overnighted to me As of this date the written prescription was still laying on Someone s Desk I explained the urgency of this Medication and it fell on Deaf Ears I have never dealt with such totally inept incompetent and uncaring people in my Life I had to contact My very busy Doctor on Six Different Occasions For Prior Authorizations As of today they say they still do not have it After speaking with someone in Upper Management today a Mr Reid he told me that he d been doing his job a long time and he knew what he was doing He then proceeded to tell me that I didn t know what I was talking about and I didn t know what I was doing Believing that I would die without my Medication I became overwhelmed and frustrated This after all was the 23rd day of trying I would never recommend this Accredo Specialty Pharmacy to anyone It is the worst I ve ever experienced I will never go back

HORRIBLE
If I could give a negative review I would They told me my medication would be delivered TODAY and didn t call me until the day that the medication was going to be delivered that I might have to pay 6000 for the medication and couldn t tell me what my insurance would cover until after billing I talked to 4 people and was on the phone for over an hour and got ABSOLUTELY nowhere HORRIBLE service as it seemed nobody could help me or knew what they were doing

Finally switching pharmacies after months of communication shipping insurance issues There was always something delaying the medication and it s not the kind of medication we can miss doses on They have put my son at risk for a medical emergency more than once as his seizure disorder can worsen quickly if he misses a dose More than once they have told us that his medication was already shipped or would be shipped in the next couple days only to find out they didn t have authorization and didn t tell us Even if the app says it s arriving in the next few days we always have to call to make sure and 90 of the time there s an issue and it was never going to be shipped Absolutely frustrating Major system change needs to happen

Worst specialty pharmacy ever
Worst specialty pharmacy ever I ve been trying to get a refill for the past two weeks and just today I was told I need prior authorization Not one of their agents had said anything about an authorization being needed since I first called two weeks ago Every phone call a different excuse was cited and the agents clearly read from a script with their platitudes I wish I could switch but am tied to them with my insurance company They clearly care nothing about patient s health and wellness

I have spent almost two months trying to get Accredo to deliver my medication My insurance has approved and paid for the prescription already They are delaying my prescription and I have missed over two weeks of doses I have called at least 15 times over this period and no one will help This is a fraudulent company
