Worst experience from Acura Customer Care regarding the vehicle warranty
I have reported rust on the rear hinge anchoring the front passenger seat when I went to my car dealer he has reviewed it and accepted that this should not happen and he has inspected a few other 2020 RDX cars and observed the same when he reported to Acura warranty team for the replacement they have simply denied the request for the replacement I called the Acura warranty team about 40 days ago and raised the request and I don t see any response from them yet every time I tried to call them to their customer care it ask me all the questions send the call to voice mail which they never return back

I would give no stars if possible My 2022 MDX type S was hit in the rear 6 months ago I am still waiting on parts from ACURA they keep pushing parts back a month at a time How is it they still drop new cars but cant get parts for mine I went from ranked 1 on the list to just a general email every 30 days stating a new arrival date for parts Well see next month what they say The dealer i originally took it to couldn t even find the issue they told me all was fine until they magically found a bent steering knuckle that im still waiting on to this day today Worst experience with a new car DO NOT BUY A NEW ACURA

Seeking Resolution - Rosenthal Acura Gaithersburg MD Service FeedbackI ve been a dedicated Rosenthal Acura customer for over two decades having relied on them for servicing my Acura TSX and RDX However I must express my deep concern regarding the current state of their service department It s evident that the quality has significantly declined since the onset of the pandemic potentially due to changes in management and personnel The esteemed Rosenthal Acura name is all that remains Regrettably the standard of repairs provided is far from satisfactory Their mechanics seem limited in their ability to diagnose and rectify issues beyond basic service requirements Comprehensive post-repair checks or test drives on vehicles appear to be omitted Additionally the treatment from personnel leaves much to be desired and obtaining a loaner car after repeated service failures necessitates escalating the matter to the facility director Rather than relying on experienced mechanics they seem to rely solely on scanner-generated codes for repairs This approach lacks accountability and there have been no apologies for their mistakes My attempts to engage with the Acura regional manager have been met with silence and interactions are avoided Here s the chronicle of my ordeal 1 Initial Repair - July 10-13 2023 3 days Diagnosis and spark plug and coil replacement on the 4th cylinder 2 Post-repair Issues - July 13-18 2023 Unforeseen shaking and motor noises 3 Second Repair - July 18-August 12 2023 26 days Extensive timing chain guides arm tensioner seals replacement and Fakra cables 4 Post-repair Issues - August 12-14 2023 Immediate oil pressure light and all service lights warnings car shakes upon startup stalls 5 Third Repair - August 13-19 2023 8 days VTC Valve replaced due to DTC P2651 Rocker Arm Oil Control System B stuck off switch circuit high voltage 6 Post-repair Issues - August 19-26 2023 Persistent car shaking electrical issues battery indicator lit car cranks but doesn t start while lights are operational Discovered air intake left detached post previous repair 7 Fourth Repair - August 27-September 2 2023 7 days Resecured the fuel pump ground and installed a new air intake 8 Post-repair Issues - September 2-5 2023 Intensified shaking difficulties in shifting gears all service lights back on car stalls repeatedly 9 Fifth Repair - September 5-October 1 2023 27 days Acura requested all non-Acura service receipts presented 5098 estimate later reduced to 2371 66 for cylinder head gasket replacement My vehicle has spent a total of 71 days in their service since July 10 2023 with each return in a worse state than before A particularly concerning instance was when I realized that my vehicle had been returned to me on August 27 2023 with the air intake visibly detached It makes me question what else was not properly attached My car stalled and had to be towed back to the dealership Please refer to the attached video The latest issue is the 2371 66 estimate for cylinder head gasket replacement I firmly believe that this expense must be fully covered under Rosenthal Acura s repair warranty I ve requested the involvement of the regional Acura manager urged Acura corporate to send their own mechanic for reevaluation and demanded full coverage of the cylinder head gasket repair resulting from their errors Furthermore the current condition of my four-year-old Acura RDX 2019 falls far short of the luxury and reliability I anticipated from the Acura brand and Rosenthal Acura s service Regrettably I can no longer endorse the Acura brand to those seeking dependable luxury cars and service In conclusion I implore you to reconsider subjecting yourself to the frustration and disappointment I ve endured with Rosenthal Acura s service Superior more professional and cost-effective alternatives are available elsewhere

I was scammed by Acura Scranton My NJ car broke down in PA dead battery I am under warranty Its a 2022 ILX They replaced my battery and charged me 3 for a fuse and 160 to install the fuse I m under warranty Still fighting to get my money back Apparently my dealer warranty doesn t apply out of state

We purchased a 2023 Acura MDX from Hall Acura with several issues the main one being that the vehicle is very jerky on and off cruise We told them what was and still is going on with the vehicle but they gave lame excuses It s probably transmission problems that they refuse to acknowledge We have also read other reviews about the jerky drivetrain We talked to the service manager with nothing resolved It was a huge waste of time Because we did not agree with their answers that they were pulling out of the air and they did not like our responses they asked us to use a different Acura dealership classic action of denial They never once asked us to leave the vehicle there so they could see what the problem was DO NOT BUY AN ACURA MDX ITS JUNK And definitely do not go to this dealership the customer service sucks

AcuraLink not worth it
Writing this review in hopes Acura will fix there AcuraLink option offered for their cars stay away from paying any dollar amount you will find yourself going down to your vehicle to manually start it because the app iOS useless and constantly posting a apology message because something went wrong on their end and after numerous complaints they were going to look into my situation and get back to me that was over 2 months ago think I will just have a real remote starter put in thanks for nothing

Acura TL has parasitic drain
I had an Acura TL 2005 that had a parasitic drain among many other issues I had to spend a ton of money fixing the car and buying new batteries Acura claims their cars do not have a parasitic drain which is entirely false Now there is a class action lawsuit against Acura and I submitted my proof of payment for all the batteries but they want to deny my claim Stay away from Acuras as they are not good cars and the company will do everything they can to get out of accountability I d rate 0 5 if I could I will never buy an Acura again and will warn anyone who mentions the possibility of buying one Acura is not a good company and they produce cars Save yourself some money and don t buy an Acura

It was the absolutely worse experience
It was the absolutely worse experience I ve had in my life Had 2021 RDX with blown engine and only 74 000 KM Both Southview Acura and West side Acura were absolutely horrible They went out of their way to make things more difficult for us We wanted to trade RDX on another car rather than spending 15 000 to have her fixed Southview offered me 10 000 for trade and West side would give me 16 000 for trade The used engine to replace blown engine cost 5500 and they were going to charge us 9 000 for the exact same engine They basically gauge customers off with inflating the amount they charge you The most unprofessional dealership I ve ever dealt with Rude sarcastic staff at both Acura branches Charged me 187 for oil filter when the same filter at NAPA was 11 Had to have RDX towed from West side to Southview as that was the dealership who had the car we wanted to buy Car was towed back to Southview without the license plate In order to cancel the plate number and get a new plate I had to file a report with the police They had no reason to remove license plate in the first place I swear they did stupid crap like this just to make getting a new car more difficult Both Acura branches basically hate each other Both would bad mouth each other straight out to the customer I traded the RDX on a 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and finally this nightmare that s been ongoing since April has come to an end My Mitsubishi is in my garage I do not recommend anyone to buy an Acura vehicle Buyer beware

Avoid Acura of Tempe at all cost Shady sales tactics originally I was offered 8 APR on a used vehicle then called back into the office a week later stating the loan had fallen through The new APR was 13 75 and they tacked on an additional 10k for the finance charge At this point I had already decided I wanted to keep the vehicle I would never recommend this place for a first-time buyer and I do not plan to use them as a trade-in in the future The air-filter I got on the engine and cabin was filthy and I was charged to have it replaced I ve contacted Acura directly who told me to go to the GM I ve sent an email to the GM and have yet to hear back weeks later The sales person also insulted my girlfriend while I was there which I didn t catch until afterwords

So I purchased an Acura MDX in June of 24 a hit n run accident damaged the car and windshield I have been without this vehicle due to supply chain issues with Acura it s now October and I still don t have my car They never offered a loaner or to help pay your note anything to help you since it s not your fault about the supply chain I regret purchasing this car and I m still having to get rides still pay the note and insurance The model is a 2022 good luck to you if you damage your windshield They have no answer for you other than keep giving you false ETA s then that date come and it s set back again The least they could do is offer a loaner to me SMH regrets
