Morocco Rabat airport - good experience

This was in Morocco Rabat Sale airport We were quite scared renting from addcar given alot of the bad reviews about the company However when we landed at about 9PM from Stansted we asked for the area of the renting and was instructed by the airport security to walk to the blue tents at the end of the car park When we arrived we saw the car we rented waiting for us in the parking lot and the woman Amina there waiting she was so lovely very fast and helpful We did not have a Visa credit card however they accepted our british airways american express for the holding deposit they also offered for us to use our debit card however there was a 100 euro fee for that Or we could use someone else s credit card whom was going to be in the car with us but we could have to pay for them as a second driver We simply chose the first option which was great The car itself from the outside was a little dirty but the car was relatively new good condition and the inside was clean The whole process took about 15 minutes and we were off When we wanted to return the car unfortunately we were an hour and a half late so had a small fee to pay as a result of 100 dirhams which is about 8 pounds If we were only one hour late it would have been fine but over an hour late theres a fee They checked the car enquired about a bump however we assured them it was there before hand and we had video proof they were very kind and easy going the whole drop off process took no more than 15 minutes They thanked us and we were done Deposit should be back with us within 48hours Hopefully all goes well I appreciate that some people had horrible experiences with this company however please always remember that majority of reviews are always when someone had a bad experience and not necessarily when someone had a good one I was extremely scared renting however the price was too good to be true and it was We will be hopefully using addcar again Thank you

My flight was 2 hours delayed because of this corona thing but Igors was waiting for me as usual Thank you I have rented so many times with addcar in Riga and they have just a very good and easy system No waiting time no hazzle and no problems I wish everything was so easy

ADDCAR Never again

ADDCAR Never again worst car rental ever I have been more than satisfied with other car rental companies they still owe me money after four months they care less they have my money Greedy and irresponsible company They would be closed down in Ireland for supplying dangerous smelly cars with warning lights on OMG

AVOID - Scam hire company in Sofia Bulgaria

As per many of the reviews Picked up car from Sofia Bulgaria heavy handed insurance sales tactic which I did not purchase Although they took many photos of the car Pre-rental I never received them Claimed an email address error Then charged my card nearly 1 000 for a windscreen chip No photos received pre or post hire again claiming an error with the email address - although I booked with the email and received the paperwork informing of a charge via the same email Clearly a scam outfit AVOID

No Brakes-Worn Out Car-Cleaning Fee

If you want a car with no brakes one that has a broken seatbelt connection that sets off a loud alarm constantly and one totally worn out and then fraudulently wants you to pay a cleaning fee then this is your company I would avoid them like the plague I was not able to give it 0 Stars
