NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY We visited the island last year with my autistic son They issue wrist bands to which my son would not allow on his wrist so I had it on as the adult going on every ride with him One teenager worker told me we could not go on the ride unless he has it on and called security on us Luckily the security understood realised the park does nothing for disabled children in this case and allowed us to continue our day dispute the workers ratty attitude we had a good day We visited again this year and my son is now comfortable wearing wrist bands - however the park does a non-queue process for children who can t wait and have accessible needs You go to the back of the queue and they give you a time to return Great HOWEVER when trying to return to go on a ride we noticed another family being escorted away who had an autistic child and the security telling them your son is too disruptive The same nasty attitude and lack of training we experienced last year - all by the teenage workers When we had our turn to go on the ride 45minutes as that s how long we had till we returned we then was told to wait another 10 minutes while the worker allowed the coaster to go round another 3 times before allowing us on This caused my son to be upset as he had to wait and if you have an autistic child you know how hard this can be for them The staff are so u trained despite age - this all falls down to training and customer care to which the park has none and are so inconsiderate to children with disabilities Awful experience and the most unfriendly staff I ve come across in a long time

Was thinking of going for a little break A friend of mine sent me a link to view one of the entertainment shows Well im absolutely disgusted at what i saw drag people basically committing sex acts in front of children Will definitely be given that a wide birth

Once upon a time drag queens on stage doing sexualized performance in front of children would have been grounds for police involvement social services as criminal safeguarding Now the police would probably turn up and arrest those that reported the grooming of children with this TOTALLY AGE INAPPROPRIATE MADNESS for being some sort of phobic While parading around in rainbow covered police cars This company deserve to go bustThe performers are either deranged or have proclivities towards sex acts with children to be up for performing this in front of anyThe parents are failing by letting their kids see it - it s psychological abuse it puts their children at risk of hands on abuse by messing their minds upAll adults involved have committed moral legal crimes What on earth has happened to us Literally what depth are their left to sink to Protect children - drag is not for children should be kept shut away in nighttime clubs for adults only Drag performers have NO place in children s spaces FFS

Drag Horror Show
On the 15th of July around that weekend I was shocked to see what can only be described as a sex show which was supposed to be for families I will never come back to Adventure Island and I would suggest others stay away from this place as they seem to constantly promote filthy drag acts

I visited on 15th July with my grandchildren and was appalled by 2 thingsThe complete arrogance and rudeness of the staff young kids mostly with entitled narcisstic tendencies and zero people skills then nearly fell over backwards when I saw what I can only describe as a sex act being performed in front of children a grown man dressed in inappropriate sexualised clothing rubbing his hands up and down an angle grinder whilst holding it in his genital areaAbsolutely disgusting for children to witness thisShame on you for signing this act off as appropriateI urge everyone who cares about their children to avoid this park of pedophiles
