We would NOT Recommend this Company
We were recommended this company originally and were initially pleased with the roller shutter installation to our garage back in Spring 2022 We had a small accident in November 22 which bent our guide bar to which the roller shutter was fixed into 2 guys came out and fixed this for us quite quickly to which we were pleased As this was our error we willingly paid for the work as it was not covered by the warranty We have since called Affordable Windows in Oct 23 as the roller shutter stopped working It went up but didn t come down We called the company they sent 2 guys out to which they took photos and asked what we did as it didn t work They then sent an outrageous email stating that we don t look after our roller and that we have cut wires and they cannot fix it These statements are totally untrue and very unacceptable We would not touch any of the kit as we thought Affordable Windows had our back This is obviously not the case and we are disgusted they would even suggest such comments We have now found a new company who came out straight away and fixed it on the spot Affordable Windows are NOT a company we would recommend

The most upsetting and distressing
The most upsetting and distressing experience of my life I was promised my 12000 job would be started the week following the quote and would be done without breaks taken to do other jobs It wasn t started for 4 weeks and then was consistently done between other jobs and took 10 weeks to complete The quote was to remove and replace fascias soffits etc and it was all overlcad apart from the back fascias My driveway and artificial grass were not protected as promised mess cans and cigarette butts dumped everywhere The day the job was finally finished I received a council notice ordering me to remove the cladding they applied to the front of my house within 28 days as it wasn t permitted They quoted a further 7000 to remove the cladding restore the front to its original Tudor fascia This took another builder just 1 day to complete the restoration

We needed a replacement bathroom window handle and Affordable Windows arrived on the date and time agreed and replaced the handle on the spot Friendly and helpful - no fuss Would definitely use their services again in the future

Great Company to deal with
The guy who performed the repairs to my windows was very good at his job the pricing I thought was extremely fair but unfortunately he was obviously being rushed to move on to another job consequently after he left one window was left with no catch so we could not lock it we had to do an emergency repair ourselves as no one was answering phones by the time we discovered it

Third time I have used Affordable
Excellent firm Shane was helpful and encouraging from the moment I emailed him the pictures of the hinges on my front door A week later he sent Dominic down with new hinges and he re-hung the door took around 80 mins so it now shuts like a dream and is straight The fact I also get a guarantee is a bonus Thank you Shane
