Very unfortunate experience
I purchased a product that I was told was 30 I didn t really need it but wanted to support the business owner It wasn t until I got home and saw my bank statement and the item was in fact 50 50 for hair conditioner I went right back into store the next day to get a refund as I m a new mother and cannot afford a 50 hair conditioning product She said that she was unable to return it despite it being unopened and being told a different price The problem is that a lot of shops no longer display the price of items on shelves tills anymore They just have these contactless card readers I cannot believe that I am out of pocket by 50 because I wanted to support a small business owner rather than going to Boots or Amazon for my usual hair products Won t be doing that again Lesson learnt

Email spam impossible to unsubscribe
Years ago I signed up to their mailing list I then tried to unsubscribe using the link in the email that all companies are required to have by law It says I m unsubscribed yet I still continue to receive marketing emails I have emailed countless times to ask them to remove me from their mailing list and they never respond and continue to send me marketing emails like I m still on the mailing list The lack of customer support is ridiculous This company is not legitimate and does not honour the opt out option for marketing emails I ve reported to Information Commissioners office and implore anyone who s also had this experience to report them too Do not subscribe to any of their marketing emails unless you want to receive them forever Avoid

The Worst Customer Service for Mail Order that I ve ever come across I purchased the Leave-In Conditioner
I purchased the Leave-In Conditioner which was on sale at half price When I received it it was really runny not a cream like the others I d had from them but a lotion I emailed Afrohaircandy and they told me it had been freshly made and to leave it in the coldest part of the fridge for 72 hours I did this for about a week - no difference Sent them a video of the product sloshing around in the jar and asked how long I would have to wait They ignored my email And they ve ignored two subsequent emails It s a scam - they offered a half price sale but then gave you half the product because it s so diluted It also separates in the jar so I guess I need to drain out all that extra water they put in So it s not half price really just a cheat because I only received half the product And really appalling customer service for ignoring my emails about the faulty product I was sent Unbelievable And a month has gone by and the product hasn t thickened at all

My hair fell in large clumps after using the chebe butter
I don t mind spending money on products if they look promising I wanted more length and I was assured that Afro hair candy was the way I would like people to know that this product made my hair fall out in huge clumps I had large bunches of healthy thick glossy black hair in the palm of my hands The weird thing is when it first touched my hair it felt so soft it felt good as if it was working After 1-2 weeks of having extreme hair loss I evaluated what I had changed and stopped using the product naturally my hair stopped falling immediately Spoke to my mum a while later she told me she had been experiencing the same thing but she was still using the product - I told her to stop and of course her hair stopped falling as well I m sure the products will work for some but it s important to share my experience ladies and gents we know how sad it is when you re trying to get your hair to where you want it make so much progress and then something like this happens I have never experienced that before and it s a bit strange I do find that a lot of hair product owners including black hair product owners sell products which they know categorically aren t the best for Afro hair They sell it anyway Exploitation for the pursuit of money Products should come with disclaimers and business owners should try to be more honest about their clients experiences - They should try to figure out what causes it to not be compatible rather than simply trying to sell to absolutely everyone knowing that it can be very detrimental for some I am confident that my mum and I are not the only ones
