Lost damaged my luggage in business class - and taking no accountability
Flew business class with Air Mauritius from Paris to Mauritius on 28th October Upon our arrival the luggages were lost and remained lost for 4 days with no updates from the airline s side We called them 5 times per day and got a different response on where our luggage is each time After 4 days they delivered both suitcases to our hotel damaged beyond repair hardcases broken wheels missing zipper broken opened and messed up on the inside with inside dividers broken etc We immediately filed a damage report and filed another one in person upon departure the next day There was no help offered whatsoever - no replacement luggage no vouchers no luggage wrapping for the luggage to even make it on the journey home - just to send them another email with the paper damage report and the photos of the damage which I did immediately Their website states that the dispute processing time is 22 working days Throughout this time I have sent a few requests for an update which have gone unanswered and now that the 22 working days have passed there is still no response Business class service is clearly a joke because I would not expect this treatment for paying passengers of any travel class Never seen an airline so disinterested in their customers Please avoid this airline by any means if you possibly can

They give last rate customer service
When things go smoothly they appear to be fine but they dont we warned On 3rd September our flight home was delayed by 14 5 hours No food and very little drink was offered and everything at the airport was closed They ran out of hotels so a night spent in the arrivals hall The seats we paid extra for were allocated to others couldnt get them changed back We get home but the customer service is appalling Filed for compensation offered in fairness half price flights in the next 12 months but as I won t be able to use them even if I wanted it s 50 of nothing Declined this offer but case reviewed no new offer and closed As customer service complaints operate from Mauritius very difficult to actually speak to someone In my 20 call via uk reservations spoke to complaints in person once Other times phones rings out However I have travel insurance all I need is a letter confirming the plane suffered mechanical technical problems and I can claim I ve received two letters both stating operational difficulties Despite more phone calls and emails with the policy wording attachedit appears It s not their policy to confirm the exact cause of the delay they use the phrase operational difficulties which of course could cover many things If you want last rate customer service when things go wrong they are the Airline for you

Still waiting for 11 hour flight delay compensation from 17th April 2024
Avoid this airline at all costs We had an 11 hour flight delay on 17th April 2024 and are still waiting for our compensation Like many others mentioned in their reviews they do not answer the phone it just rings out or disconnects They do not respond to email and when they do they just ask for the same forms you have already sent This is completely unacceptable customer service We are now going to file a formal complaint with the Civil Aviation Authority and encourage others to do the same

DO Not Use Stay Away from Air Mauritius
To cut long story short After more then 8 years my family and myself went back to Mauritius We decided to give Air Mauritius another go and book a flight We had pre paid for seats due to our hight At no point via email notification on the app or by staff were we informed that aircraft had been changed and therefore we were not given our original pre paid seats It was only when we got on the the aircraft that we noticed When we spoke to a cabin crew by the name of Cherry she was very disrespectful and unprofessional When I returned to the UK I went through the process of requesting a refund starting from the 23rd December and we are now the 13th of Jan So 6 emails and over 12 phone calls number of were being put through to the claims department which rings and then the line goes dead I have only received one refund and am still trying to get a refund for the other two As an airline that represents a country that prides its self in it tourism hospitality and travel Air Mauritius is deeply letting the side down considering that are the first contact to said hospitality I would always recommend coming to Mauritius but I can not shout it Loud enough DO NOT use Air Mauritius They are a joke

As with all the other poor reviews we still waiting for compensation from January 2024 they do not answer the phones or respond to emails how can a global company operate like this I have wasted so much of my time trying to resolve this I would never fly with them again

Poor airline
Poor airline As long as everything goes to plan they are ok I guess but when shit hits the fan safe yourself In the end we had a 4 hour delay because of a technical failure of the airplane of course this can happen and better safe then sorry but we have been giving little to no information They just left us hanging We also missed our connecting flight so the total delay was over 8 hours Back home I submitted a claim multiple times now but no response I tried contacting them through email and social media and guess what also no response So PLEASE safe yourself a massive headache and DO NOT EVER book a flight with Air Mauritius You re welcome

Air Mauritius stranded us with a 7yo
Air Mauritius stranded us with a 7yo child at Mauritius because they delayed a flight from Madagascar to Mauritus we missed our connection They made us wait at the airport without information and finally ended up routing us back to Dubai through Bombay The airline staff were badly trained and borderline rude They were extremely unempathetic about the situation

So far I have been waiting in a queue
So far I have been waiting in a queue for an hour to get to the exit luggage claim and I am not even at the second part of the queue That s not ok nor good service What a way of welcoming visitors Some of this waiting is due to the fact that tourists are not informed of the forms they need to fill-in So if somebody informed about and shared the forms to those in the que it would go so much smoother I ended up waiting 2 hours thus loosing my transport to my hotel
