Cheaper products provided at the same price then rude customer service from the managing director
We recently purchased two Kestral pressure feed spray guns from this company for my workplace and on the listing it clearly lists Best Price Guarantee with a link to click and advise where you ve found an item for a lower price I compared the price of the Kestral gun and found no cheaper alternative anywhere so this matched up nicely We then received an email advising that the guns we had ordered were out of stock but that a like-for-like gun from a different manufacturer could be supplied at the same price The new guns came in the post and I did a second price comparison which found that the guns provided were actually notably cheaper everywhere else and we d been given a product worth almost half the price I called through to explain this to a member of their customer service team and came through to a man who said he would help me instead After explaining the situation he said that it didn t matter that it was a cheaper product because it was just as good quality While i m not contesting the quality of the guns as we ve not used them a cheaper product sold at a more expensive price is daylight robbery I fairly requested that they honour the price match guarantee offered on their listing and he refused to do so because he believes the quality is worth more with complete disregard to the prices his competitors are selling it at He then offered that we could return them at our own cost and that once received he would refund us the full value of the order plus up to 8 return carriage I asked him to confirm that we would be refunded our full order plus the 8 in writing via email so that I had a record of this and he responded that he was not willing to confirm this in writing Given that we were provided cheaper goods despite being advised they were like for like and that the price match guarantee offered was completely untrue I m doubtful that they ll keep their word on refunding the return carriage in addition to the value of the order The staff member I spoke with identified himself as the managing director I would strongly recommend going with any number of cheaper alternative suppliers such as Elmbridge Thorite or BuckandHickman as the company are untrustworthy and apparently even the managing director doesn t understand the value of good customer service Update Not only has this customer lied to us on multiple occasions but apparently their dishonesty even extends to their reviews sites I received an email from Trustpilot earlier today advising that the company had queried our review claiming that the review was not relating to an order with them Despite advising Trustpilot of this they emailed me stating that they had read my review so clearly were not only aware that it was pertaining to an existing order but even knew which order it was In addition to the above the items came in to us with the items undamaged but with the packaging squashed due to them being tightly packed in two bags We returned these to the company using our own vans with the items left in the cab of the van to ensure that they would be in the exact condition that we received them in The company have now refused to accept the returned items because the packaging was squashed by their initial outer packaging We re going to have to go through the credit card company to get our money back I strongly urge anyone reading this to go to any alternative company there are many cheaper alternative suppliers for the same products and even a more expensive supplier would be worth every extra penny given the service we ve received I have absolutely no idea how this company is still trading and judging by the other reviews I m confident that we aren t the only customers to have this experience

Don t waste your time
Air supplies may sell high end compressors and accessories at fairly competitive prices but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired I ve had small compressors of many brands for years but recently decided to go for a larger unit A friend had recommended ABAC and I wanted some additional information about a 3hp a39 model so I emailed Air Supplies The person that emailed back George could not have been less enthusiastic and after giving me information that I was later told was incorrect suggested I call the office After a quick chat with a chap who seemed to know what he was talking about I settled on the ABAC A29 90 litre and he told me to go online and buy it as he couldn t process it over the phone A few days before the unit was due to be delivered I noticed that another supplier had the same compressor at a lower price and remembering that Air Supplies offers a price promise I emailed George and asked if the price could be matched Air Supplies then phoned me George again and instead of either honouring the price promise or a polite no he set off on the most unprofessional rant imaginable complaining that it was only a few quid and reminding me how they d gone out of their way to advise me on what air compressor to buy and eventually telling me that I could cancel if I wanted to If I was getting this sort of treatment before I d even taken delivery then I figured I wouldn t have a hope of resolving any issues if the unit ever needed service or repair I took George up on the offer and cancelled the order at which point he put the phone down on me I wouldn t normally leave a bad review but the final straw was when I noticed Air supplies had charged a 10 card handling fee to refund my money If they weren t so terrible to deal with I wouldn t have needed to cancel in the first place

I have never written a negative online review but my experience with Airsupplies was the worst I purchased a sprayer from their website that stated it was in stock for a job I had coming up while waiting for the delivery the customer changed his mind so I no longer needed the sprayer and filled out their online enquiry form and emailed asking how and where to sent it back too I never received a response so I sent it unused to their address with my order details and within fourteen days I then received a phone call from a very rude and aggressive man asking why it was sent back to them and not to the manufacturer and denying he had received any emails he tried to charge me a stocking and handling fee of 100 on a sprayer that cost 324 I have since contacted them through PayPal and have had to activate a claim as they were trying to make up terms and conditions which didn t match their websites PayPal were fantastic and have fully refunded me Stay clear of this company

I had a lucky escape
I had a lucky escape Saw an ABAC compressor I liked on their website but having seen it for 25 less from an Italian importer I clicked on the AirSupplies Price match button and entered the details of the other offer Had no confirmation from the query Waited a day then emailed to check they d received my request Got an email from someone calling himself George simply saying Sorry no we didn t get that This would have been the time for him to ask so what were the details of the offer that you wasted your time entering into our broken form but George wasn t interested I replied with the details of the offer but I ve heard nothing back It s been over a week I have no idea why or how they re still trading Maybe it s a front for Russian pigeon fanciers I got a compressor from these nice people a thousand miles away in Tuscany They kept me informed by email and they couriered the compressor across Europe to my door in less time than AirSupplies took to not answer my email I did want to buy from a UK supplier to make any aftersales service easier but I reckon I d have more chance of getting a response from the Italians lineonline co uk

I purchased an ABAC L30P Monte Carlo
I purchased an ABAC L30P Monte Carlo and accessories from these guys in April 2019 When it arrived I realised that the black box which houses the on off switch and conceals mains level wiring was broken I emailed Air Supplies about it immediately and they never responded We gaffer taped it back together and got on with other things I contact them about this February to try and resolve it I hoped they would still honour the warranty especially since I had contacted them about it when it first arrived The person I spoke to said well that ll be 45 VAT I don t know how we ll get this resolved I asked what about the warranty and the line went dead I phoned back and after ringing for a minute it went to answerphone I don t think customer service is on these guys radar Shop elsewhere

If I could give no stars I would I rang up to purchase compressor wheels from this place The man said he had them and asked if I d bought my compressor from him when I said no he asked where I had purchased it from then proceeded to have a go at me for buying a compressor for a cheaper price than his he then decided he wouldn t sell me the wheels told me that s the way the world works and put the phone down Talk about taking sales personally Absolute nutter However within minutes I rang a different company called J J air systems and had spoken to a lovely fellow called Shelden who ordered the wheel kit for me straight from Bambi Air supplies may have knowledge but they seem to have a bit of a chip on their shoulder SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Trust the many bad reviews and buy elsewhere
Please do yourself a favour and buy elsewhere Possibly the worst customer experience I ve ever received I would give ZERO stars if Google allowed me My compressor developed a fault it was collected and returned with a no faults found notice It took me several phone calls where I was told I was mistaken despite showing them the fault which I managed to film on my mobile Eventually the compressor was collected to be inspected again but I didn t hear from anybody for THREE months I then sent a letter asking for a refund and I finally received a cheque via post - no apologies no nothing Horrible horrible horrible customer service Please do not buy here Lots of other places available Update I have now received an email from AirSupply asking me to please stop publishing negative reviews about my shopping experience with them

I have contacted this company many times about returning components I bought from them and as of date they still haven t sent me their returns form and made up some rubbish about seeing if they can be returned and a restocking fee Don t use them
