Scammers Air transat is a complete joke and scamming everyone out of their money They ve changed their measurements for a standard carry on size which is smaller than every other airline The sizer they make you try to shove your bags in at checkin doesn t fit any carry ons We watched over 100 people try to fit their standard carry on bags into this thing It s quite embarrassing They ll then make you pay an additional 150 euros to check your bag The worst part is they seem to let some people through with larger bags I wish I could attach a photo of the very large roller bag I m currently standing behind while boarding my flight None of it makes sense and it s infuriating They milk every penny out of you and ruin your vacation before it even starts It seems they ve also changed the size of space underneath the seats in the new aircraft s because they don t fit a normal size backpack Which makes the flight very uncomfortable and unbearable Will not be flying with them again and would recommend staying away if you don t want to be robbed

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE They changed the dates of my flight and would not work with me to find an alternative that works They are costing me two days of my vacation and want to charge more to fix their mistake AVOID AT ALL COST Customer Service rep hung up on me when I begged for help I have spent hours trying to fix this I would honestly like to just cancel everything at this point as they have ruined my trip

Toronto to Rome
Toronto to Rome June 2023 Showed up at airport to a wonderful surprise that 2 of 4 tickets were cancelled Had to buy 2 one way tickets Lucky that original tickets were done through Expedia as they refunded the two one way tickets Neither Expedia or myself could ever speak to a person from Air Terrible They unsuccessfully tried to ruin a great family trip Also no inflight entertainment

I ve been flying with Air Transat for
I ve been flying with Air Transat for over 10 years and always rated them highly until now My recent experience was beyond frustrating My dual citizen children weren t allowed to check in with their British passports Despite getting the required documents in time we were still refused check-in and had to pay for the next flight The staff were unhelpful and rude despite my kindness One staff member even mentioned it was a joke we couldn t board as we had enough time blaming it on the supervisor having a bad day It wasn t clear on Air Transat s rules that dual citizens need to fly on their Canadian passports something most people wouldn t know This level of customer service is unacceptable especially for loyal customers I hope Air Transat addresses this issue

They make people check carry-on for nothing
They made me check-in my small backpack saying there were too many people on the flight so I had to The flight wasn t full and most of the overhead space around me was still empty after boarding I made sure my bag fit all the requirements and sacrificed in my packing to make it as small and light as possible People with much bigger suitcases who got a different staff member had no issue bringing it in I boarded near the beginning too I don t think this cheap airline is worth the slightly lower cost I ll probably avoid in the future for traveling carry-on only

The worst experience I have ever had travelling in my entire life
I arrived to my check in 1 hour and 30 mins prior to boarding and they told me I could not board because I was late The check in lady told me that it says on my boarding pass that I must be there 3 hours prior we went over it together and nowhere on my pass did it say such a thing As well as this when I called to re-book they refused to put me on another flight without paying full price once again Therefore from everywhere to the customer service all the way to the actual boarding of the flight it seems that this company does not care for its customers For a company that is well worth hundreds of millions of dollars refunding 3 plane tickets is apparently where they draw the line Simply put after this experience I will never use this airline again and I will tell all of my friends family and loved ones to stay away from these scam artists

They re false advertising a resort as
They re false advertising a resort as new the resort is being renovated and it s been stopped to a leak in the pools And everyone is getting sick from food And employees breaking into rooms in the middle of the night and 3 employees on multiple occasions following women to there rooms and even chased after a family friend The air transat rep even warned everyone and it s on video and yet they won t allow anyone to change resorts without making them pay more then the difference on the trip Those families that encountered this have went for legal representation and air transat is still denying any of these issues and said it s a safe resort just avoid this company they re scam artists and don t care about your well-being at all

Air Transat has the worse customer service They were rude and clearly did not care about our concerns I m posting to all of my social media outlets about them This money hungry company does not care about customers- be aware Look into other options first

Amateur company hiding issues behind third party connection companies
Amateur company Advertise flights using third party connections then use the third party companies as excuses that simple services like online baggage booking etc are not possible Get told cannot assist with accessibility or wheelchair access for passenger Advised need to fill in form on a website Call centres are terrible will not give out names of whom speaking to Waited 37-45mins to speak with a manager who was useless Told they are going to look to update system to add extra baggage but might not be for a year To think a company of this ineptitude are putting people in trans-Atlantic flights is staggering

Booked a travel package with Air
Booked a travel package with Air Transat in May for travel in November First we got an email saying they went ahead and changed our travel dates without our permission or input then a week later we got an email saying they had oversold the rooms and had cancelled our trip all together The hotel and flight are still available but now at an extremely higher price I won t make the mistake of booking with Air Transat again
