Absolute crooks ANPR sting merchants Expecting you to use an app to pay when there is poor mobile signal Machine not working wouldn t take my card payment I have 3 confirmed payments made for 3 seperate parking sessions Combined overstay of 31mins - got clobbered for 180 2 of the sites I didn t get mobile signal until I was half a mile away How do you pay if no signal and machine not working Avoid using their car parks in cornwall if I was you

I would recommend you avoid Alliance car parks at all cost Parking at busy summer periods can add up to 20 minutes to your stay as number plat recognition cameras pick you up on entry and exit and charge you for that period not the ticket period The council should be taking action agains these people as tourists are the life blood of Cornwall Bad practice such as they adopt will eventually cause bad feeling as expressed in these revues

Received a parking fine for an overstay of 16 minutes in trevone 15 minutes of which was spent queuing for the pay machine Appealed with for declined along with appealing to the iac which has also been decline They are now expecting a payment of 100 in 14 days otherwise court proceedings threatened Absolutely disgusting company money grabbing thief s with no compassion 100 to a family in cost of living crisis is crippling Backed into a corner now but will complain to local council Has anyone not paid

Machines are not simple to use I dialled in 2 hours fee 4 used phone to pay Thought nothing of it grabbed ticket as it was windy displayed as normal a week later a fine string I had overstayed According to them I had paid for one hour not 2 no point arguing if you read their fine letter Small print says you are charged from the moment the ANPR picks you up Would be better to have Pay on Exit using ANPR like many hospitals do then NO MIX UP

Cowboys outfit - parked Harlan Bay took time to find space due to deep pot holes in car park had to negotiating same leaving But fined for over staying my time Here s an idea invest in car park and barriers so people pay legit rather than fining them and using funds for directors holidays This company are working hard to encourage Cornwall tourist trade It will be a longtime before I visit again

No coins so downloaded app and found I d been signed up to all manner of scams including a health site Squat Fever that planned to charge me 50 after my 1-day trial Came with a team of similar sites watch movies any time and something about dance Found out afterwards these sites somehow piggy-backed onto Alliance and are NOT associated with Alliance Parking But judging from other reviews the 1 star seems still appropriate LESSON don t download apps in a hurry

Terrible attitude to anyone who makes a genuine mistake entering reg number Genuine mistake and I had obviously paid the charge However I was still charged 100 for the error even though I paid for parking There are no grey areas with them and their understanding is non existing towards customers who make them rich Attitude was unprofessional in communication rude and curt and arrogant I live in Cornwall and have to use them regularly I ve probably paid 100 s but makes no difference Charges are high and so are the fines There has to be a government enquiry into these companies and their laws It s extortion in a period of economic disparity Theyre Robbers don t use them if you can If you re disabled there s still no care or understanding at all Government stand up for whats right No replies from them to any comments and reviews either which says a lot about them

Avoid Harlyn Bay Car Park at all costs Paid for parking and like everyone it seems who uses this car park got a fine for overstay The fine was dated 18th September - received 21st October - just outside the reduced payment period which ended on the 16th October I have contacted them to say I will pay the reduced amount but not the full amount as I was not given opportunity to do so and they have point blank refused and said any issues with the Royal Mail delivery are my problem Don t spoil your trip holiday by using this car park and having all the stress when you get home Harlyn Bay is beautiful - park somewhere else
