Terrible stay away from Allianz

I recently had a concerning experience with Allianz Global Assistance that has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated In June 2022 I contacted them to cancel my insurance policy after discovering that my dental emergency in Thailand was not covered due to a technical issue related to my travel from Bulgaria Despite understanding the circumstances I was dismayed that my claim was not honored Following the cancellation I was shocked to receive an unexpected charge of 120 Despite immediately initiating a chargeback I never received any further communication from Allianz Global Assistance regarding this matter Recently I was informed by the new resident at my previous address that I owe 170 to the company They claim to have attempted to contact me via email at an address associated with my former marketing agency which I no longer have access to since I sold the business This lack of communication and understanding is unacceptable Furthermore I find it perplexing that Allianz Global Assistance continues to charge me despite the absence of any further claims after canceling my policy I am also concerned about the lack of effort to reach me through alternative means such as phone or physical male Overall my experience with Allianz Global Assistance has been deeply disappointing and I would caution others against entrusting their insurance needs to this company

Phone insurance is a total scam

Phone insurance is going through Allianz they will do everything to make it impossible to claim anything for your phone so it is a total scam

Not worth the money

Filing a claim for insurance on unused football tickets was burdensome and unnecessarily complicated It was stressful
