Do NOT purchase Allianz Landlord Insurance Covers Nothing
I highly advise against purchasing Allianz Landlord Insurance as it literally covers you for nothing and is not worth the very HIGH annual cost They will find any loophole to get out of paying for damage tenants have done I recommend opting for a reputable insurance company specialising in landlord coverage for better protection

Horrible experience
We had home and contents insurance with Allianz when we were broken into by a group of thieves while we were sleeping on Xmas morning 2 years ago We woke up and chased them off but not before they had gone right through the house and stolen heaps of stuff We thought that was a pretty nasty experience but what followed with Allianz Insurance was probably worse We lodged a claim via their assessment company and that was duly ok d and passed on to Allianz for processing We basically were ignored by Allianz Every time we called to enquire about our claim it would be a lengthy wait on hold and each time we would get a different person We would be told that they would follow up and call back but they rarely did And when they did the caller would again say they would action the claim but again nothing substantial happened This went on for months so we lodged an official complaint Again nothing We then in desperation lodged a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority Then and only then did we start to get somewhere The claim was lodged in December 2021 and final settlement did not occur until June 2022 We can only assume that Allianz staff are under a directive from management to delay claim payment as long as they possibly can Either that or they are all incompetent which is highly unlikely We expected much better from an international company that promotes itself as being a leader in the field Every time I watch a footy game at Allianz stadium in Sydney I am reminded of this painful chapter in my life Stay well away

It s been over a month since I was told
It s been over a month since I was told that my refund has been processed and sent over through telegraphic transfer and still nothing has been received I have been emailing them to send me a tracking reference number they kept ignoring me very unprofessional and pathetic service Regret taking policy with them for overseas student Healthcare do not use this company You will Regret it

Allianz are not trustworthy
Allianz used an irrelevant road rule as an excuse not to honour a claim contrary to multiple eyewitness statements My wife was in a queue of traffic exiting a school drop off zone when she was hit by a vehicle speeding through the school drop off zone but because my wife was not able to fully straighten up in the lane Allianz claimed hit was her fault the other vehicle hit her even though she had been patiently waiting for the traffic to move Multiple eyewitness statements provided by Allianz ignored them and claimed that even though my wife was not moving and had been there for some time she should have given way to the speeding car that hit her

Terrible customer service
Dealing with this company has been tortuous Nearly 3 months from claiming and still not sorted Clearly they have half their staff if not more working from home Too busy picking up the kids to deal with customers I will never use them again

Allianz are unethical and inhumane
Allianz are unethical and inhumane Their lack of communication with their customers is like nothing I have ever experienced in my entire life They cut me off workers compensation with no notice and no communication I had to call them to be told two weeks after the fact They did not tell my employer my doctor my rehab consultant or myself They left me unemployed and penniless and could not have cared less No case conference no return to work plan so I was not financially and emotionally devastated They lied and said twice they sent my doctor questions for clarification She never received them Honestly I am still awaiting a review and answers as to why they did not follow the insurance regulatory policies for the cessation of payments I do not believe they will ever communicate despite admitting they made an oversight and this is why I or the other parties involved in my case received no notice to get my affairs in order before the payments ceased I am left emotionally devastated and unemployed with no income My care team all said they had never heard of anyone being cut off from workers comp without notice before Allianz admitted fault in a taped phone conversation I asked for answers as to how this could have happened and a review of my case I have never heard from them ever again Where is their duty of care How can they fail to communicate such life-changing and devastating events to their customers

Don t do it
Don t do it They lie about sending out renewals leaving you uninsured and when you realise this and contact them they admit fault until you request that they meet their original quote not the rubbish one where they add an extra 1000 Avoid Allianz at all costs

LACK OF COMMUNIICATION TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEME
I would like to emphasize how shocking the lack of communication between Allianz and their customers is The insurance that is supposed to cover and assist me when I have an accident is actually causing me more stress - I am currently holding on the line for over half an hour trying to reach you and hoping the line won t cut before I talk to a human as it has been all morning I have also sent 4 emails with receipts and detailed information of my current situation None of them have been answered not one follow up call or email back I have currently done all I had to to get my car fixed paid more than my excess for that and yet no one can call me back to discuss reimbursement though the monthly payment NEVER fails Still waiting on my answer
