Single layer boards

The first time I sent the Geber files they I was quite happy with them as this was my first prototype boards These were single layers boards One side the silk screen print the other side the solder mask Simple Right I made some small adjustments to my circuit and resent the files They printed all the files on one side of the board and said it was my problem for not naming the files The problem is that I had not changed any of my file names just the circuit And as they had already manufactured my circuit boards before with the syntax gb0 gb2 there was no change there Hi Yuki Does this mean that that you will not make my boards You made me the first board correctly because the engineer who made my first boards understood that on a single 1 layer board the silk screen and circuit MUST be on opposite sides It s the only way the board can work NOT the silk screen and circuit on the same side this is for 2 layer boards Look at the pictures 1 The first board you made for me is correct Order ID G98725 yes all your layers are named GBXXX The factory engineer needs to look and understand that 1 layer boards MUST have the circuit on one side and the silk screen on the other side 2 The Gerber file that I sent you for the second board Order ID G100365 have the same named GBXXX Only the circuit was changed not the files Hi Sorry for replying so late it s true that the factory missed it We have arranged the factory to reproduce and hope to solve your troubles Best Regards Hi Domic I can understand your feeling But the problem is not because that our factory fabricated your boards incorrectly The reason is that the names of files are not correct According to your design our engineer can distinguish which layer is copper solder mask silkscreen etc but he didn t know the solder mask and silkscreen shouldn t be at the same side Because according to the names of files they should be on the same side Besides your orders are not handled by the same engineer each time So our engineer didn t know your design last time We just fabricate your boards according to your files If we refund money to you there will be someone in our company who needs to undertake this cost But according to the current condition we cannot find such person who has made mistakes on your order I hope that you can undertand Order at your own peril

Tried to order a simple 2 layer board

Tried to order two simple 2 layer boards 10x10cm quantity 10 each with several v-cuts They wanted additional charge new cost should be 65 18 that is several the previously calculated costs So I emailed them to cancel my order since there was no cancel order button on the website some where But instead I get replied After we checked your order G131684 the order type should be Panel PCB as Design not Single PCB The panel ways should be 10x12 and 8x10 and need V-scoring according to your gerber files Because of those the price has increased However our price is still very competitive I m wondering if you still want to cancel it But I din t asked for a better price I just wanted to cancel Even after replying to cancel thet order 5 days later I noticed that they still didn t returned my payment even tough the order is officially cancelled according to their website So my advice to veryone out there don t use this PCB service

Poor business practice stay away

Last month I ordered 300 worth of PCBs I asked them to ship it via standard mail but they shipped it via DHL instead DHL tried to charge additional 300 to deliver the parcel so I decided to let them return it to ALLPCB After that ALLPCB tried to charge 600 to have my parcel reshipped That s a terrible way to do business A reliable company would never ever risk their reputation doing that kind of thing I don t even know if the PCB quality is good or bad So I strongly recommend against this company Stay away

Poor ALLPCB to be avoided

ot only did my PCBA take months but when i received them 80 of the VIAs where not correctly manufactured Consequently the PCBs were not properly ground plated and therefor useless Another PCB batch also had the same issues and we had to start again with another manufacturer After initially being promised that they would satisfactorily sort out my problem their senior service person then refused to reply to any of messages Do yourself a favour and avoid ALLPCB

Got charged 15 for their mistake now Security Concens

I can t comment on everyday PCBs but I tried to get a 3 2mm PCB made and I was quoted a very reasonable price As soon as I placed the order and paid I received an email telling me that being a special PCB they needed to revise the price They came back the next day telling me that I needed to pay the same amount again to cover the total cost I cancelled the order and after 2 days I got some of my money back That s right - I lost almost 15 in bank transactions apparently and 2 days into my project because of these incompetents Update - April 2025 Disturbingly shortly after posting I started to get hit with phishing attempts and a breach of my PayPal account The email targeted was my company s address - one I rarely share and only with suppliers or when absolutely necessary In the six years prior to dealing with ALLPCB I never experienced anything like this I can t prove a direct link to ALLPCB but the timing and nature of the attack raise serious concerns about how they handle customer information I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company

Once again very nice PCB from ALLPCB They worked directly on the pcbdoc file from Altium This is a great solution and a time saving for me The PCB was delivering earlier than expected I think ALLPCB is one of the fastest PCB manufacturer Thank you
