SCAM - ATM display designed to trick you

This bank designs its ATM displays to scam you It has you choose between local currency or exchange rate which is a terrible rate on one screen and then on the next screen it repeats that choice but in a different design so you get confused and accept the exchange rate instead Total ripoff purposely designed to trick you Avoid at all costs

Forget digital services

They re still in the 2000s Their digital and mobile services are non-existent If you want to change your mobile phone or address you re not allowed to change that online but you need to go to a branch Equally if you get locked out or have your account deactivated you re again asked to visit a branch - hard for an abroad resident In my case even that isn t possible as there s a lack of knowledge expertise and professionalism where I opened the account in 2002 Ioannina branch They are consistently rude and claim that isn t their job and I should reach out to the call centre A vicious circle with no ending

The worse ever Corrupted bank in corrupted country The transference to another greek bank more than two days This is unacceptable These people don t work here they just sitting on their asses drinking coffee that s all what they know to do

I can t even give them one star My aunt has moved to the uk and needs to change her address and phone number She can not attend a branch yet that is all you continually ask her to do She is vulnerable and has no access to her pension as her cards have expired and yet you will NOT update her details without her coming to a branch We booked a video call you cancelled it have sent endless compliant no one replies phoned numerous times to be told there is no solution unless she comes to a branch You are leaving a 79 year old with lung disease on an oxygen machine without access to her pension Absolutely disgusting Do not use this bank ever

Deal with this bank at your own peril It s a disaster 1 Tellers are only open till 11amGod help you should you reach the front of the queue at 11 01am you will not get served2 try making an appointment to update your passport details I hope you have 3 weeks up your sleeve3 If you get your passport details you might get a Dr card to access your own money to pay bills 4 This bank is an absolute disaster from the top down I really have no idea what they between 11am and 2 pm when they close

Very tricky to take out money from the ATM in local currency thus avoid paying the excessive exchange rate they offer Also the machine kept my card Don t go there

A 20th century bank

Very well suited for those that like waiting in queues visiting the branch for any requirements including making a complaint being ignored by customer services being ignored by the complaints department being ignored by the CEO vassilios psaltis personal information provided to a 3rd party non government party without authorization being discriminated for not being Greek being sneered at for visiting the branch etc Absolutely not recommended for those clients that prefer digital banking or are used the the UK banking system
