I ve had recent experience of conveyancing work by Tamara and it was absolutely atrocious My buyer using Tamara agreed a completion date and as it got close Tamara seemed to be using stalling tactics When it came to the crunch it turned out Tamara hadn t reviewed documents she d been in possession of for over 5 weeks The stress caused by this unprofessional woman was completely unnecessary

Asked a yes no question

Rang Martock regarding quote received approx 6 weeks earlier Asked question if I get the documents from present solicitors could you complete the transfer of property ownership Too busy to answer had to go in for answer Went in Did not sit down as awaiting a yes no Andrea wanted more information from myself basically wanted me to instruct I refused as simply wanted my question answering Answered my question I left the building unfortunately Andrea was still waving papers at me saying needed more information as I walked across the road Presumed I was instructing not why I went in Emailed to let Amicus know what happened recieved email back alluding to myself being problem my memories of what happened is completely false - apparently I am informed I had conversation to instruct Amicus yesterday Unfortunately I was not present at that conversation Was excellent prior to this happening Am I made out to be a problem as I did not sit and sign everything over to instruct to complete work without asking questions Did not sit down as was a yes no question Trust blown Walked away Unprofessional

We recently sold our deceased aunt s flat in an assisted living facility Gatchell Oaks Long story short Painfully slow amateur process including failing to inform us that staff doing the very basic admin was off sick for three weeks but nothing has changed - multiple complaints later this pathetic process continues to bob along 5 months after agreeing price with a cash buyer for a one bedroom flat Terrible

Very interested to read these reviews Sadly we had very poor experience on conveying side of simple land transfer Took six months had to chase continually wrong documents sent to buyers solicitor relating to a completely different client monies not transferred on completion and a week later still waiting for completion statement to explain amounts Interested to see that Andrea always responds Sadly she hasn t responded to our letter asking for explanation Could never recommend or use again Sorry Amicus but one can only speak as you find

Helen was called upon by one of the nurses caring for my dad that was suffering with mesothelioma Helen came to see us in person and in the time she had with us she gave dad a true and honest insight into what could happen with his case Helen did more for us in two weeks than one big law firm did for my dad in more than a year We only wish we had met Helen so much sooner 6 years on Helen remains a very meaningful individual in our lives Helen helped with matters outside of dad s mesothelioma case including pension and death in service which weren t even matters my dad had considered It was obvious she did all she could to help us and we can never thank her enough A true gold service I wish we were all lucky enough to receive as a bare minimum No everyone is as lucky as us

Andrea at Martock Amicus is the best there is

Andrea at Martock is highly recommended How many solicitors do you know get back to you quickly well Andrea does She informs you if she is out of the office and her work is thorough diligent and fast She is a true professional in all senses of the word No she isn t paying me and I don t work for Amicus but I have used Andreas services 3 times now and she can t be faulted I went through a harrowing divorce house sale and she made things so much easier for me If I need to I will use her again without hesitation

Amicus Law is great would use again

Tamara at Amicus Law was great she was very helpful and professional My house purchase was very compilated and couldn t go ahead in the end as the survey showed that the house was not insurable but Tamara was quick to get back to me and chase people up for me I would use Amicus Law again
