Celebration of Life Service

Andy really pulled it out the bag when acting as Celebrant for my dad s Celebration of Life service We had a slightly different assignment to a typical funeral as my dad had wanted a party opposed to a funeral and Andy helped us deliver He really captured my Dad s character and personality in his opening words and throughout He even dressed the part joining us wearing bright colours for occasion He made adjustments and tweets to his speech right up until the final hour as per our request He sent us a beautifully presented copy of the service and an audio version both beautiful touches Couldn t recommend him enough

Ours was not a straight forward job thats for sure but Andy listened well was sensitive responsive flexible proactive and really delivered on the important day We could not have asked for more I think a big thing with Andy is he does not just follow a template he seems to want to really understand the person who has passed and genuinely wants to do his best What he did for us was very personalised to us and the deceased What that meant was on the day it felt we had done the best job possible and we felt good about this in an other wise difficult situation It helps you feel at peace Outstanding job Andy Thank you so much Couldnt have been better

I highly recommend Andy From first talking to Andy on the phone i knew he was the right person to share mams life with He picked up all those special personal things about mam as well as making our family laugh cry with all special words Andy chose a poem which he said suited my mam it was as if he knew her personally it was perfect There are too many special moments shared between ourselves Andy I could write a little book Andy went above beyond to make everything perfect for mams celebration of life even right up till 1hour before mams service where he was adding requests into it I was also sent a copy of the service too I really can t thank Andy enough he s a lovely man who made our family feel so comfortable with a beautiful celebration of life Thanks again Gillian family

We sadly lost our mother recently and had to arrange a service My wife and I had been to a service Andy had given before which we thought was so lovely it would be fitting if we could get him He is a wonderful person who liaised with the whole family to give our mother the perfect send off All of our family cannot speak highly enough of him and thank him for his help support and care during this time

We would like to thank Andy for making our mother s service such a happy and joyful occasion with tears as well of course Our mother was 101 so the memories were many We are full of admiration for the skill that Andy brought to listening to and absorbing all our stories and to weaving them into a perfect narrative capturing the essence of what we wanted to say about our mother He drew in and supported those who also wanted to speak adapting his own words to changes they wanted - right to the last minute All this was done with great kindness empathy and humour and in the middle of the Christmas holiday season It was perfect

Andy did my Dad proud yesterday with his well researched presentation He captured all aspects of him and delivered it just how we all knew him and I can t speak highly enough of him in both leading the service and the run-up to it He is empathetic and very patient and if your having trouble like I was He helps nudge you in the right direction If your going to hire a Celebrant then Andy Jones is outstanding

We were introduced to Andy 3 years ago when my mam passed away We were so impressed with him that we were never in any doubt who to use again sadly needing his services again recently when Dad passed away Andy just has a natural and respectful style and just understood us as a family I would 100 recommend him he made a very painful time just that bit easier thank you Andy
