Long distance purchase

As a purchaser from outside the EU the pre-sales customer service was excellent The director went above and beyond to ensure I received a product that would suit my needs It was unfortunate that the furniture sustained damage during transit The company worked constructively to fix the issue When its suggested solutions did not remedy the issue the firm ceased all communication for a number of months until such time as the Danish consumer authority became involved Matters were positively resolved through mediation Pre-sales 5 stars after sales 2 stars

Mikkel is an outstanding dealer and extremely knowledgeable about leading Danish mid-century furniture He has helped me acquire several pieces that I am extremely happy with and at reasonable cost for the rare items He also advises me on pieces at Bruun Rasmussen and other auctioneers His firm is assisting me in assembling two full containers of collectors furniture items by Kaare Klint Frits Henningsen and Wegner to go to the USA Canada and the UK Mikkel has great contacts for upholstery and is able to get furniture correctly restored by the right craftsmen at fair prices When I was sold a falsely represented piece from an unnamed Copenhagen dealer who has many legal problems I did not know about over the internet he advised me how to get a full refund under Danish law I don t think I would have gotten a refund without his help Having dealt with many many dealers in various countries over the last 30 years I consider Mikkel to be the gold standard and as honest and trustworthy as the day is long 100 recommended
