Unfortunately i had to give you 1 star i would have preferred 0 Full of it at this company all their customers think they are great apparently Oh yes and they have cars worth 28k how amazing Ring them if you want an argument dont ring them if you want good potential customer service

Still Trying To Get My Deposit Back 18 Months Later
In Jan 2020 i replied to an Advert leasing Golf GTI for a good price I filled out the application form paid my deposit and first 6 weeks and was told my car was ordered Then i received an email asking if i wanted a different car i didnt think anything of it until i realised they didnt have the car i wanted and they were trying to shoehorn me into another car They told me they had just leased the last car and there would be a 3 months delay I wasnt born yesterday i know a dodgy sales pitch when i hear one So i wanted until March and contracted them again They had the car i wanted to i paid my deposit and 6 weeks upfront I wanted the 12 days of the 14 day delivery time and then i decided i would change my mind 2 days before delivery They refunded my 6 weeks but kept my 600 pound deposit Why apparently rental car companies don t have to abide by the same rules at ALL internet purchases in the UK So I raised a complaint I didnt get anywhere with the management of this company They did exactly as the previous review suggested So i took my issue to the Rental Car Complaints Authority I third party body set up to self regulate the car hire companies They supported their member and told me i was not entilted to my deposit back - even though i never tool delivery of the car and im sure they would have rented it to another customer the next day So i took Apec to the small claims court and my trail is today 18 months later delayed by covid I am expecting the small claims court to rule that because the car was never delivered i am entitled to my deposit back We will see I would be interested to know how many other deposits they have kept

Adjusted damage report after signature
We hired a new car from Apex for a few months It had some issues headlights filling with water interior lights that would not switch off but the main problem occurred after we d handed the car back Apex found new damage that was not there when we made the final joint inspection Apex adjusted the paperwork after we had given signature making it look like we had confirmed the existence of this damage when we had done no such thing They demanded payment using our signature on the doctored paperwork to justify the extra charges Thankfully we had kept carbon copies so we could prove the paperwork had been altered We had a thorough inspection on collection so we know these faults did not exist They then admitted altering the paperwork defending it as a simple process error but it looked and felt more like an attempt to defraud us Ultimately we came to an agreement where we paid for some scuffs to the wheels but Apex waived the charges for more serious damage that we disputed It was a difficult process which left a bad taste Apex looked shady and made no attempt to make amends We said we d leave a public review about this to which they threatened to take action against us with a legal case for defamation So it looked like fraud and they followed it up with threats Unsurprisingly I ve got to warn potential customers this is how they operate

Good value
We have been using Apex for some 8 months now We use their flexi lease option Great value for money Good selection of vehicles It s nice to be able to change to a van if our needs change

Great cars Great Prices Friendly staff
Used this company on and off for a number of years The team are very friendly and efficient at providing vehicles on their long term rental deals Currently have a lovely Golf Gti as a free upgrade Keep up the good work

Due to retirement I now cannot justify
Due to retirement I now cannot justify 2 cars so have very reluctantly had to return my lease car I have been using APEX for about 4 or 5 years and never had any issue with them The quality of the cars are very good Only adverse comment would be that initially they would change out a car when I had only had it for a few weeks 2 000 miles this was a pain since I had hardly got used to it

Picked up the car at Poznan Airport
Picked up the car at Poznan Airport Poland at 02 00 the representative was very helpful took us out to the car and all existing damage was emailed On return no issues and deposit refunded same day - no complaints at all Nearly new Toyota Rav4
