I treked EBC and ABC with Shankar He got me through the Chola pass We laughed and joked all the way round both treks for a month in Nepal It was utterly amazing Highly recommend Lovely people Shankar I said I will be back And I will be sir I promise

Nothing compares to Everest What a rush this experience was I want to thank my incredible guide Shankar and his team of amazing porters and guides for this one-of-a-kind journey through the most beautiful mountains on earth I ve traveled a lot and I say this was my 1 adventure ever It definitely tests your body mind and spirit especially as you gain altitude and hiking requires more effort but the views are indescribable The locals are very friendly and there s always a cup of hot tea or and soup waiting for you at the next teahouse As a woman on the Basecamp trek I always felt very safe and well taken care of From the moment we landed in Kathmandu Shankar and his assistants took care of everything and we didn t have to do much thinking from that point on He even checked our luggage upon arrive to make sure we had everything we needed clothing gear wise for our big trek Kathmandu was packed with trekking gear stores at rock bottom prices so I bought a few more essential items that I really needed Shopping in Kathmandu was fun On day 1 of reaching the Himalayas Lukla was a very exciting day in itself I cannot put enough emphasis on how incredibly scenic it is It s like you ve been telaported into a whole new world back in time Make sure you have your cameras READY I know we all have good smartphone cameras these days but I also suggest a pro camera because you re going to want to print and enlarge many of your epic photos Our group found Shankar and his awesome team to be highly qualified to lead us to everest Basecamp We all made it and we thank them for their unwavering strength leadership kindness and selflessness Plus as an added bonus Shankar is so funny so we definitely enjoyed a lot of good laughs each night after our day was complete He is a wonderful and trustworthy man and I highly recommend him Ascent Holidays if you are considering this trek As I said before I have traveled a lot in my life and Everest Basecamp trek is by far my most talked about trip People seem to be so impressed and interested in hearing about this trip so I m really happy I did it and made it all the way to Basecamp Thank you Shankar and team We love you

I recently embarked on the ABC trek along with my group of 10 friends with Ascent Holidays and the experience exceeded all my expectations The booking process was seamless and efficient Bahudhar bhai from Ascent holodays made sure to guide us through the necessary steps and the transparency in costs and inclusions was much appreciatedFrom my initial inquiry to the pre trekking briefing the communication was exceptional They had ensured we were all well-prepared and confident before setting offOur guide Bahudhar bhai was a true gem Knowledgeable personable and fluent in Hindi and English He not only led us safely through the trek but also shared good insights in to local culture and geogrpahy The support staff was equally commendableThe tea houses along the trek were cozy and clean We were well fed and nourished throughout the journeyThe itinerary struck a perfect balance between trekking and acclimatisation The breathtaking views and diverse landscape along the way made each day trek a unique and memorable experienceEmbarking on the ABC trek was an adventure of a life time I wholeheartedly recommend their services to fellow trekkers seeking a well organised safe and awe-inspiring Himalayan experience My heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making this journey truly unforgettable

Everest Base Camp Cho La Pass

We had the trip of a lifetime with Shankar from Ascent Holidays I engaged in conversation with Shankar months before our hike I must had asked him a hundred questions and he was so kind to answer them all We are from Sydney Australia so I was a bit hesitant at first in booking a local company but he built trust quickly with his honesty and we are so grateful that we chose Ascent Holidays for our trek Shankar was an amazing leader on our hike up to Everest Base Camp and over the Cho La Pass to Gokyo His communication is incredible and he just genuinely cares about everyone I m a photographer and the one thing I wanted our hike was time and flexibility Not only was Shankar patient with us while waiting for hours on end for me to photograph but he happily changed plans on the go for us with no issues at all One thing I was very thankful for was that Shankar allowed us to have time for ourselves during the walk often leading from the front and making sure we were in eye sight for most of the time which made it felt like we were on our own and not in a tour group We plan to visit Nepal again and we will not hesitate in asking Ascent Hoildays to guide our way on the next epic trek through the Himalayas
