Wow where to start awful
Wow where to start awful Booked MOT Car failed on two tyres Asda sent a text saying we need to review costs and accept if ok impossible to register no confirmation email sent rang Asda numerous times over an hour to finally be told it s a glitch we know about it sorry Verbally told the cost for two tyres was about 30 more than paying direct to the garage Garage authorised by Asda to speak to us directly in end Absolute joke from start to finish never will I use Asda motoring ever again

I booked MOT as online after booking I have received confirmation email about my booking After 2 hours I have received message from Asda motoring service garage not available on that day Please be careful when you are booking MOT with this company

Danger I repeat Danger
First of all innocent people are being deceived by the Name Asda Motoring It s not the Asda you know the name is Colewood Automotive Secondly they charge cheaper MOT to lure you to their trap They will ask you to choose a garage of your choice The garage has no right to discuss the price as it is way cheaper than what the so called Asda Motoring charges Thirdly the garage will pick anything to increase their earnings and most of the time without knowing that the owner looses much more for every additional part they chose to change Take for instance Asda motoring made me pay 109 55 for ford focus fuel filter that costs 22 99 on euro car parts They made me pay 202 for Lamps exterior - headlamp assy left that only cost 114 on euro car parts They made me pay 1190 for what would have cost me at least 40 less Fourthly you hardly can get them on the phone and won t be able to get clarifications if need be I will never in my life recommend this company to my enemy let alone a friend

The Service that never happened
Well Where do I start I booked a 39 point check interim service When I turned up at the garage You here for an oil filter I showed the list of tasks only to be told they were only booked and paid to do to change oil filter Having then been promised they would do all on the list I left it with the garage One hour later strange how brake pads can be checked when the locking wheel nut has not been used I very much doubt Anything other than oil filter have been done even suspicious of that A stamp in the service booklet with no date no mileage recorded just a stamp A shocking service in the name of ASDA Well ASDA how about a refund for a Service that never happened 145 for an oil filter and oil change a doubtful one at that Certainly Never to be Recommended to Anyone

Booking was easy but then they changed
Booking was easy but then they changed the mot place last minute then no email was sent to me to confirm then my car dailed mot and a confirmation had to be sent before i agree or disagree Nithing came Its now almost 3 hrs trting to phone people Useless Never using them again

Unbelievable customer service
Unbelievable customer service Booked through Asda Motoring I spoke to the mechanic who advised some work but couldn t do it until AA Prestige servicing approved the repairs I tried calling this company who I had never heard of and then spent the next 6 hours trying to get through to them Asda motoring claim no responsibility even though they took my money and booking I had to deal with this other 3rd party an absolute shambles of a service NEVER BOOK THROUGH ASDA MOTORING

I have never ever in all my years been met with such a shambolic incompetent organisation An unholy partnership with Colewood Motoring and the AA who should be ashamed of the association Absolutely useless No customer service and it is actually a racket Avoid avoid avoid I wouldn t wish on my worst enemies Hours of stress to get things moving after they technically kidnapped my car

I bought a warrenty through ASDA
I bought a warrenty through ASDA Motoreasy in actual fact on the phone it was 3 years for the price of 2 I was told everthing was covered and the only additional charges would be if I chose a main dealer and had to pay the difference in labour costs which I understood what was NOT discussed is that the policy only applied if you brokedown and were recovered from the road side so not worth the paper it is written on as most issues are found under either MOT OR SERVICE CONDITIONS BOTH OF MINE WHICH ARE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AT A MAIN DEALER WHAT A SHAM

DO NOT USE
I would like to leave less than one star if I could I paid for an mot at a local garage from their list the evening before it was due I got a phone call to say that garage had closed down and I would need to book into a different one or get a refund as there were no other garages near I opted for a refund I have had no refund I have emailed Asda motoring who direct me to Snartcare then smartcare direct me back to Asda motoring I cannot get through on any phone numbers given just says lines are busy I want a refund as you broke your contract it s disgusting DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES

Maybe cheap MOT but not worth the hassle
Easy booking online informing a Saturday morning MOT was available However getting to the garage for 08 30 after a night shift to discover the garage in darkness On ringing the garage emergency number to find they never work on Saturdays Asda refunded on complaining but booking system unreliable and inconvenient May be cheap but go else where to avoid issues
