Incompetence on a Grand Scale
Terrible I bought and paid in full for landlord insurance from these people to start the very next day only to receive a call 3 days later telling me that as a number of relevant points hadn t been raised by the representative such as the requirement to keep the temperature at 15 degrees in the house the insurance was invalid and had never taken effect How incompetent could these people be Apparently the manager was listening in on the call and realised the representative had missed many salient points but said and did nothing instead allowing my money to be taken when he knew it was at best a disingenuous purchase arrangement based on the omission of relevant information It s the most ridiculous construct ever An insurance company who don t know how to sell insurance I don t even know if these people are registered as I have not received a refund of my money nor have I received an apology from anyone I shall now be contacting the FCA for further advice and to find out what action I can take Update In response to the reply I bought the policy on Friday the 8th to start Saturday the 9th and it is TONY the manager that I spoke to on the phone on the Monday 11th after I received a voicemail and it was TONY who told me that he had been auditing the call AT THE TIME OF THE CALL but because it was just before closing he hadn t intervened and had told his employee to call me on the Monday TONY also told me he would issue the refund and email me when he had done this with an apology I never received an email to date and there is absolutely no paper trail related to this policy or payment apart from my mastercard statement and phone call records despite the fact that I should have received my policy documents and a receipt for the payment The only reason a company does not want a paper trail is so they can hide something If everything is as TONY claims and he did not listen to the call until the Monday then why did I not receive policy documents and a receipt You know exactly what this review is about unless you do this so many times that it all becomes a blur and your disingenuous response only serves to back up my impression of you I ll be calling the FCA right now
