Installing a solar panel system is an expensive capital investment and we were bewildered by the number of companies available There were also LOTS of horror stories Having found that Ask-Renewables were relatively local to me Yorkshire and the highest rated Solar PV company on WHICH I arranged for a survey to be carried out after my first phone call with Samantha - not a sales rep but a director of the company Nothing was too much trouble despite my having my own ideas about what I wanted my system to achieve and at no point did I feel that I was being pressured into buying something Their advice was good I did my research and having found them to be very competitive on price we arranged the install It is worth noting that we obtained three quotes in total and not only were Ask the most competitive they were also BY FAR the most professional in their approach One company quoted after looking at our house on Google Earth and then tried to pressure us repeatedly to sign up Not Ask Ask didn t even take a deposit but rather we paid after the install once we were happy with the system immediately The install was incredibly smooth despite my particular requirements not being standard and even when an additional item was required again due to my particular needs someone jumped in a car and brought it out to the fitting team All done and complete in the day We installed a large 8kw array with a 6kw hybrid inverter on a south facing roof Our first week of use saw us completely fill our electrical needs through solar inc our EV AND export 50 of power back to Octopus Energy The app is addictive and it is wonderful to see how much power we are producing - by doing nothing Our return on investment is amazing A great company that just needs to keep doing what it does the way it does it

Fantastic Service
I obtained several quotes for a Solar PV System however Ask Renewables was one of the few that actually wanted to come out and do a site visit Their surveyor Matt visited and discussed at length my options and the costings involved he then went away and produced some full written proposals for me to decide on These were left with me with no pressure to buy etc having compared the quotes and services provided I had no hesitation in opting for Ask Renewables their service was far superior and the quote very reasonable The process of getting National Grid approval etc was then completed and a fitting date agreed On the fitting day the team of two arrived and efficiently set about the process of installing the system both were efficient and friendly Within 5 or 6 hours the system was fully installed and fully working Within a few days the commissioning pack and certificates arrived Ask Renewables were professional throughout and gave a service second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others
