Basically scammed with terrible support

I previously had an Astraweb account from 2015-2023 They recently sent me an email offering me a 12 month subscription with 3 extra free months at a cost of 2 99 a month I took them up on the offer but they then billed me 44 85 - the cost of the full 15 months I emailed support expecting it to be easily rectified I sent them the original email which clearly states that there are 3 free months I also sent them a screenshot of my account page showing that I bought a 12 month subscription After going back and forth with them over the course of a few days they respond with this Thanks for being patient We reviewed your plan and we see that the charge is correct To clarify the offer is 2 99 month billed for the first 15 months in full which is why it is showing 44 85 then it will renew at 71 99 year Well thanks but I didn t need anything clarified - I have an email here that states You won t find a deal like this anywhere else All this for only 2 99 mo but only if you act fast Oh and did we mention you also get 3 months of Astraweb access for free There are many USENET providers who offer an equal or better service and they won t mess you around like this - choose one of those instead
