Audio Imperia Poorly crafted sounds for amateurs at a premium price with appalling customer support

UPDATE I claimed my refund through PayPal and paypal kindly refunded me That shows that the non-refund practices that Audio Imperia are using are clearly self-serving and ultimately illegal I am a professional composer and bought some sounds from Audio Imperia which is based in US I thought spending some money to buy high quality sampled sounds to digitally playback some of my music for the performers to use as a guide for a forthcoming CD release The sound pack I purchased is called SOLO and according to the advertised info on the company s website these are meticulusly sounds crafted to perfection Oh well guess what the vocal sounds I tried using sound out of tune when playing certain notes let alone all sort of other flaws like random dynamics uneven violin notes etc that make the audio collection a tool for amateur composers who only compose according to what the sound dictates them and not the other around Basicaly these are sounds for amateurs at a premium price Audio Imperia s customer service was unbelievably rude unhelpful and dismissive When I asked for refund they refused I sent them numerous examples describing the issue as well as sounds by different companies that sounded in tune but all they cared was to take my money and dismiss all I said At everything I said the had an excuse so as to turn eveything around and make their product flaws my fault They claimed that I the sound are not designed to play back on a notation software However when I told them that I used a DAW to play the sounds on the keyboard with a similar result they didnt respond Clearly this is a company that wont do anything if their products wont work as advertised They will expertly avoid offering any solution and at the same time dismiss any request for refund on the grounds that the product has been activated In stark contrast is the exampke of the company Native Instruments based in Germany On the same day I made the purchase of SOLO from Audio Imperia I also ordered Kontakt 7 from Native Instruments However by my mistake the version I purchased was not compatible with my notation software Finale Despite being my fault and activated the serial number Native Instuments kindly refunded me imnediately showing an example of a truly good customer service of a company who knows to respect their customer I trully dont recommend Audio Imperia to anyone who is professional composer and values reliability and accuracy Their sounds appear good on paper but they are badly crafted and most importantly are uneven full of music cliches and unreliable Also for amateur composers I would strongly recommend different companies that have cheaper and better sounds and most importantly will offer them a better customer service and treat them like humans not like source of income As for the professionals better save their money to companies that offer sounds that havent got baked in unmusical elements such as excessive crescendos or uneven dynamics which cannot be turned off and end up making whatever they compose sounding the same and purely dictated by the limitations of the sound samples Shame on yourselves Audio Imperia not because of the flawed products you sell but by your refusal to accept they are flawed and treat your customer in such a disrespectul and insincere manner
