Be careful about auto-billing

There are better apps out there with more focused programs but my main complaint is they have been autobilling me without any renewal notification so turns out I have been paying for it for several years even though I have not been using it BE CAREFUL to properly cancel if you do not like it It does not show up in your Apple subscriptions and cannot be cancelled there

IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION

They automatically renewed a subscription on the anniversary date when I had CANCELLED it at least SIX MONTHS previously They do not have a phone number where you can talk to someone - only email which someone assured me they would refund but DID NOT Now I have to chase them down again and leave messages to which I get no response

I installed the app on the 30 days

I installed the app on the 30 days trial period O was a little worried as it asked for payment details But needed to sleep and wanted the meditation and stories The voices are not great but tried for a few days 1st of all there was a trial charge I put a notification on my calendar to remind me that the payment would be deducted on the 21st January 2024 On the 5th I get a notification from my bank of a Aura charge and its the premium 129 99 I never agreed yo this I looked on my android play store and there is no subscriptions at all I can not find how to cancel this and eventually emailed Aura help I was told someone would get back to me i email Google support and they can not find anything on my Google account for Aura either and I needed to send them the proof of debit I have asked for a refund and hope I get it But am shocked at the Business ethics and on the Google search Free Aura app sentence always pops up nothing free and very disappointed I HOPE I GET MY REFUND AS IN South African CURRENCY the subscription is nearly the same amount as our minimum monthly wage

Charge you full amount even on free trial

Site says you will not be charged until after your free trial and then they immediately tried to charge my card 69 I emailed them about how wrong this is and was told you will be refunded after being charged but it will depend on your bank how long the refund takes A charge then REFUND is not the same as NOT charging you until after a free trial This company is shady AF

Almost paid 70 for a free trial

I wanted to try out their free trial they asked for my info so i put in my revolut card info which i find safer to use for online purchases instead of my regular card I fortunately didn t have a lot of money on there so when they tried to charge me 70 revolut froze my card and the payment didn t go through I have never heard of the practice of paying money for a free trial and then getting a refund Sounds like a scam to me

Am shocked went to Youghal Aura Called before stated slide opens every half hour Never opened A mother in severe distress with her autistic child Seemingly no enough staff This is certainly not good enough Times should be allocated its either open or not open Seemingly varies well wouldn t recommend it to anyone who has to plan ahead

SCAMMERS LIERS AND CHEATERS

Like others on here I also asked for a 7 day trial and tried to cancel it after discovering the payment went through automatically on my card They refused so I accepted this but asked them to ensure any subscription was cancelled They confirmed future charges and subscriptions were cancelled 1 year later I ve just had another subscription put on my credit card Again they are refusing to accept that I firstly never subscribed and secondly asked for my unwanted subscription to be cancelled but are now saying they will refund it via a Paypal account They charged my credit card they can refund my credit card This is a scam PLEASE BEWARE - you will be charged fees you hadn t subscribed to they even tried to charge me for a family account and then you ll be charged again the following year If they are a genuine business which I doubt they need to sharpen up their act MASSIVELY Its not acceptable

Please DO NOT try the Aura meditation app as a free trial They will never refund your money and will continue to charge your card even after you cancel the subscription They do not list a phone number but I was able to find it 650-273-7019 When you call a voice recording directs you to leave a message with your email information No one gets back to you by phone and when you send them an email you ll receive an automated response directing you to cancel on their website You will never have contact with a person and you ll never get your money back I will report this shady business to all pertinent authorities for investigation and initiate legal action against them I ll also expose them on every social media platform I suggest you do the same
