This company is NOT female friendly
Do no use as a woman on your own I got charged for 2 hours labour 108 no parts needed a hinge realignment for a job I later found out would have taken 15 minutes To top it off the problem still wasn t fixed I contacted the garage but was told I now needed a part to fix the problem plus another hours labour for a further 100 What I can t understand is why this wasn t mentioned to me while the car was being worked on I sent an email to say I felt I had been taken advantage off but absolutely no acknowledgment I suspect a man using this garage wouldn t have been treated in the same disrespectful way

We were lied heavily by this company We were told and I believed that since we have an electric car it will cost 100 When husband picked up my car he was charged 160 20 for sundries what even is that and 20 for a filter that we could have bought for 12 I would really not recommend

We were lied heavily by this company
I booked my car in for wheel alignment by phone with young member of staff around a week prior to my 3pm booking on the day I left my keys and my details with reception at 14 45 within half hour I was contacted and told I had made a mistake and my car was not booked in that day I politely confirmed the mistake was not mine and their staff members which they acknowledged and apologised for I was informed my wheel alignment would be completed still that day I was called two hours later at 16 55pm and told they could not undo the pinch bolt so I would need to leave my car with them or re-book I re-booked for two weeks later on the advice of their senior technician who advised me that he was on leave and he would need to oversee the less experienced technician or complete the task himself and I was offered a reassurance that he would personally order in all necessary parts to complete the work in case they were required I returned 2 weeks later again leaving my car again at 9am this time my booking was 11am I heard nothing from Autocare all day returned to collect my car at 4 55pm to be advised my wheel alignment had not been completed again they had been unable to release the track rods both sides I was told that they had been about to call me but they were still seeking prices for all the parts that would be needed I was told I would need to re-book and the job would be bigger with parts track rod ends drum sticks and labour which they would call to provide me with an estimate I requested this be by email and left my email details nearly two weeks later I have to date received no call or email I have now used another garage who were able to complete the works and did not need to replace any parts in the process I am very disappointed with this Autocare and I will not be returning

Poor customer service
Do not buy a car from this company or any service I bought an Audi A1 from a man posing as an old and harmless person A wolf in sheep s clothing no less He advertised it on Autotrader for 6 600 pounds A marvelous perfect gem that has no issues at all he said He kept telling me he was not a mechanic and that this was his wife s car What a fool I was What kind of thief invites you into his home so he can trick you Fast forward The next day the DPF light switched on and my journey started To make a long and painful story short After four diagnostic checks at different garages including the Audi dealership which cost me 500 pounds I found out the following - The old man works as an MOT technician and owns Autocare Canterbury A Family-run business This was the same family that sold me the car Surprise - They blanked the EGR valve because it was faulty and remapped the car s ECU so our OBD scanner doesn t find anything It took me two months to find this out It costs 900 pounds to fix - They concealed with dirt that the car was hit in the front and cheaply repaired After I washed it I saw the damage The wing needs repainting 100 pounds - I needed a new clutch after 2 000 miles only 1 100 quid plus fitting - The distribution kit timing belt and water pump that he changed couldn t be traced back on the receipt he provided Probably another lie which will cost another 800 pounds - He reverse-engineered the car s mileage like a pro I got written proof And God knows what might be wrong with this vehicle and I didn t found out yet This car would never pass an MOT check due to the missing EGR valve but this company made it possible with its incredible trickster skills and devotion They are dodgy people I know they don t look like much but check them out on their website at AUTOCARE CANTERBURY OUR TEAM Don t be fooled like me They are vicious criminals And racist too He was talking down on me and my friend acting all superior This should ve been the first red flag but we all learn from our mistakes I hope I think this is a clear case of fraud I will see what the police have to say about it I got all the evidence to back it up And his fake receipts And the phone conversations where he tells me he is not a mechanic but owns a repair garage And a witness the guy who tested the car with the OBD scanner before I bought it Wow that s a lot to get him where he needs to be Stay away from this garbage garage and people I hope this saves a soul from going through what I did

Friendly efficient helpful
I went in today for a small repair to my rear bumper They were friendly and helpful on the phone when I called ahead took the car in straight away and the service was quick and friendly when I got there They were able to repair it perfectly very quickly and at a reasonable price It was only a small repair but I was very impressed with their customer service and efficient

Recommended garage
I don t understand the negative views for this garage Myself and my husband have used this garage every year since 1994 under the previous owners and these owners too and wouldn t go anywhere else for our annual MOT and service We ve always received good advice good workmanship and a good price Just picked up the car today after it s service and MOT and am a very happy customer

Helpful prompt and efficient service - good value for money
We broke down and need a garage to take a look reasonably quickly We have used Autocare quite a few times in the past and they were very helpful and promised to take a look within a couple of working days which was quicker than most In the end they had it repaired after having to order a part in within 3 days Excellent service and always friendly helpful and give detailed explanations

Brilliant service
Phil from Autocare was brilliant He looked at body damage within half an hour of my call and was immensely helpful in providing a solution He could not have been kinder or more professional and I am indebted to him and to the Autocare team They also did my MOT at short notice Thank you

We have used Autocare for multiple different cars over the last 10 years Always very friendly and helpful especially in emergencies MOT had run out Discuss work needed before going ahead Good communication Competitive pricing Never had a problem with any work they have done

Nice Pleasant Experience
I have just had my car repaired after a warning light came on I found the staff to be very engaging and honest After comparing prices online at a local dealership I found their service and pricing to be honest and reasonable Using the main dealer would have cost me a further 700 All in all an excellent service from the team I would definitely be going back and recommend the garage 100
