Selling fraud insurance -BEWARE
We had a very bad experience with our recent booking 14185771 We made the booking through Autohuren nl AutoEurope website and paid for the all inclusive insurance However when we showed the voucher at Budget Avis in Pisa they refused to consider the insurance Theyonly considered part of the value of the voucher The reason they stated that the insurance is third party We tried to call AutoEurope but because of Sunday no one was available Later after our return we contacted AutoEurope and madean appeal to at least refund the extra insurance cost But to our suprised AutoEurope refused to refund They gave some non sensible reply as copied at the end of this message We are very disappointed with the whole situation AutoHuren has unfortunately lost our trust It is clear that they are doing a fraud by selling unrecognized insurance products or maybe more Their relationship with suppliers is poor and they let their customers suffer it poorly We will strongly recommend not do book through AutoEurope or their websites like autohuren a Dutch website but I am pretty sure they run many such l sites In all this the trouble and frustration we had to face at the start of our holiday can never be recovered -REPLY FROM AUTOEUROPE on Tuesday May 29 2018 eucs at autoeurope de wrote Dear Mr Rewagad Thank you for contacting Auto Europe and for allowing us to provide you with our assistance Weregret to hear that you encountered problems at the time of the pick up of your vehicle Auto Europe is a car rental brooker and arrange car rentals all over the world through manydifferent suppliers which in your case is Budget The rental contract that you sign for localy isalways a agreement between you and the local supplier Auto Europe have no influence of any extrainsurances or products accepted paid and signed for locally at the time of the pick up On the voucher in our Terms Conditions and on our homepage we clearly state that there will bea excess amount connected to your rental car As an extra service Auto Europe offers Excessrefund products that under certain conditions rental period car category police report etc gives you the posibility to have the excess charged by the local supplier refunded by us in caseof a damage or theft of the rental car during your rental period The rental contract and therefore the extra insurance you accepted locally is therefore soulybetween you and Budget Because of this we can not offer you any refund We are sure that you found this information helpful and we regret that we could not give you a morepositive answer this time Please contact us if we can be of further assistance Kind regards Your Customer Service TeamAuto Europe Deutschland GmbHLandsberger Strasse 155D - 80687 MunichRegistered in Munich Germany HRB 149828Directors Niall McDevitt Sven K hler Rui AlvesTel 49 89 4120 7269Fax 49 89 3803 5068

Shady company with no customer responsibility
Autohuren makes car reservations with big promises Be aware for all fine writing on the website where they declare very strict criteria for any issues with reservation or accidents etc We made reservation in Mexico with a debit visa instead of credit visa Upon arrival were we told that debit was not working for deposit and that car company only would offer us the car if we payed insurance of 900 US instead of the planned 300 for the car in total The only option was if we changed the name of reservation made at Autohuren matching the name of a credit visa card When calling huurauto they explain that they cannot do anything and point their fingers at the car company As a final solution they offer to reserve a new car but with no refund from previous car reservation In the end we had to reserve a car on the spot and had total expenses of total 800 with phone calls taxi rides and wasted reservations When studying the offers of huur auto it is very clear that they make business on reserving cars but leave all responsibilities to the renal car firm I would never trust Autohuren with any insurance package they offer or that they would pay up incase there would be cost related to an accident etc Please think on how you spend your money and better make your reservation at the agency directly to not lose hundreds of euros upon arrival when thinking you can get a good deal when booking online

Zero stars for Autohuren nl EasyTerra
Zero stars for Autohuren nl EasyTerra terrible service and communicationWe booked a fully insured all-inclusive rental car through Autohuren nl However when we arrived in Sardinia the local rental company refused to accept our credit card because the names were not written in full but only displayed as initials We were shocked as this requirement was never mentioned in the terms and conditions of the company we booked through Despite using a valid Dutch credit card and even trying an American Express card they still would not accept it As a result we were forced to pay an additional 150 for another insurance policy Surprised and frustrated we immediately called the emergency number listed on our voucher from Autohuren nl but no one answered We were completely abandoned without any support and had no choice but to sign the contract and pay the 150 extra in order to take the car We sent several emails right away but received no reply during the weekend Later when we finally got in touch with Autohuren nl they claimed they could not help us because we had signed the rental contract in Sardinia However the fault lies entirely with them they were unreachable at the critical moment even though they later claimed to offer weekend support We provided proof that we had called them without success but they took no responsibility This is absolutely disgraceful and shows a complete lack of service The original rental cost was already over 600 for just three days and having to pay another 150 on top is outrageous Moreover there were very few alternatives available for a 7-seater vehicle and refusing the car would have meant losing the full rental amount a risk we could not take The service and communication from Autohuren nl were extremely poor They are clearly not aware of the specific requirements set by their local partners We strongly advise against booking with Autohuren nl EasyTerra Het

We rented a car in summer 2019 via autohuren the problem we had is at pickup at the airport the hiring company Enterprise presented us with a compact car which was actually smaller than what we expected different type of compact car than the one on the autohuren site there s many differences that are difficult for the normal user to know we wouldn t know We were offered an upgrade with a good price We tried to call autohuren as they advise to call but it was Sunday and couldn t get through Anyway made the upgrade and then various requests to autohuren to report this issue and try to have a kind of compensation Took them few weeks to look into this issue and at one point we got someone on the phone who explained the limitations of they can do after we accept the hiring company s upgrade thankful for that They asked if we can get on paper the car offered before the upgrade but the hiring company wouldn t give us that They re smarter than this We still expected some sort of a discount or better explanation of this kind of problem on autohuren site to avoid it on the future We book via intermediary site to get a service with less not more risk Seems however need to be very careful with this and car types etc

Rented car at Johannesburg Tambo for 3 weeks Booking through this site was easy No problems at pick-up and return A bit unclear was the fact that Hertz tried to sell me the additional Collission Damage Waiver at ZAR 100 per day at time of rental Rest was all OK Good SUV recommended for the sometimes bad roads in South Africa

Upgrade went wrong
During booking I was offered an upgrade Accepted this but when I picked up the car there appeared to be 2 bookings on the same time Also the first selected car was still there and also paid for Calling helpdesk explained the problem and I was told after long wait the first booking was cancelled immediately Until now it is still in the system no money refunded nobody to talk to willing to help After a few days I received a reply on my message Explained the issue again and after a few days I was promised a cancellation and refund which I received after 2 days Thank you
