Install by ghost installations uk via radio connect So I had my ghost installed in November 2020 after picking up my new car After the engineer had finished and I went to look at the car I realised the cream seats were now black due to no protective sheets or gloves been worn Contacted them they weren t really bothered at all and just left it after I let them know the car had been valeted Fast forward to today and I m arranging to have my ghost removed due to getting a new car Call them and they want 150 vat to remove it so I call somewhere local and get quoted 60 to remove it Obviously went with the local company So the local company then call up to find out the location of my ghost to be told it wasn t registered when it was installed by the engineer so now I have an appointment for it to be removed from my car they cannot tell me where it s located and it s holding up my new car delivery To then be told I can speak to the engineer who installed it but I m sorry I bought it from you and paid you so you need to sort it out Still no further forward but like I say stay clear joke of a company

DON T BUY THIS ALARM
My initial cost 599 - 600 for the Autowatch 458RL motorhome alarm system I had it fitted for the peace of mind for my wife who is disabled All the doors with a PIR inside coupled with the added convenience of a panic alarm made this alarm common sense to have fitted Then I had three problems during the 5 years of having it done Once two sensors our PIR and door sensor for no reason failed to work correctly These were replaced by the company free of charge Then later a fault accrued which cost me not only a trip down to the company s factory but the cost of 60 for a new siren which I fitted as they wished to charge me 60 plus vat just to solder two wires together Could have bought an after market siren feabay 20 On top of all that I was told my van is old 2006 and rust corrosion is probably the cause of my van latest problem a negative door trigger RUBBISH Not according to an auto electrician who checked both the light door pins out Mine has two wires one direct earth and one direct live so where is the corrosion bit come in I even changed the bonnet alarm switch just in case That checks out OK Latest correspondence from Autowatch is they want to charge me now 144 plus VAT just to tell me their alarm don t work properly and I will have to travel back down to their workshop to have anything done My conclusion for this alarm DON T EVEN BOTHER HAVING ONE FITTED You will never recoup the money paid out against any insurance discounted alarm policy Or have any security of the alarm fitted as described MY WISH That I had bought three of the Fiamma door locks 150 for three at least you can see the locks these fitted on which in my opinion out ways any initial cost of any alarm of 600 that don t work after 4-5 years whereas these locks lasts for many years longer than five years and probably outlive the motorhomes life either way And is better value security as they are more of a visual deterrent than any invisible alarm that fails to deliver WOULD I CONSIDER ANOTHER VAN CAR ALARM NO NO NO Not worth the hassle stress or money of this overpriced outlay of this alarm that I personally would NEVER be able to trust ever again

I wish I had never purchased this alarm After just over from initial fitting it has drained the battery gone to continuous alarm mode and locked the doors so that I can t get into my own vehicle unless by breaking in No alarm should be so counter-productive particularly not such an expensive model as the 695

I ve emailed them 3 times asking for assistance and sent my car details to them twice Heard nothing back Not sure if they are still trading anymore

Autowatch atrocious custom service
Contacted Autowatch about a problem with a caravan alarm 650 Sent 2 messages but they could not be bothered to reply Any product is as good as the support when things go wrong Disappointed

I have installed Ghost2 Immobilizer in to my car and the car starts without requiring the pin code I have contacted customer support they responded once saying they contacted the installer since then no response I have sent 3 emails but totally ignored Be careful what you install in your car In addition to respond yes i have contacted the installer and they never responded back The installer was recommended by you and they don t care after installation if there is any issue

Bought a vehicle with a Ghost 2 fitted and had nothing but issues with replacement keys etc No support or help from Autowatch best to stay clear

No response from Autowatch
Twice I have reached out to Autowatch about the number of attempts it takes to enter the code on my Ghost immobiliser and twice they have ignored me don t believe any response other than apologies should they respond below The installer asked me to approach Autowatch to seek an answer as they had no idea why i had to enter the code up to 5 times before it would accepted I tried everything I could find on the net to resolve this but in the end I kept the ghost in valet mode which was useless for security Finally I tried the phone app not a method of deactivation I really wanted to use but it works and quickly So a good product finally but no customer service

The app doesn t work
The app no longer disables the immobiliser on entry to the car I m led to believe it s because the app hasn t been updated for a while Autowatch don t answer emails and say no one technically minded is on the end of the phone save your money
