Mediocre at best
Can t award any less The internet is intermittent and after 10 pm it s like they switch it off for bedtime TV channels mysteriously disappear and then come back or they remove it without notification and don t replace it I feel sorry for the staff because I don t think they are informed of what s going on so their response to issues is generally I don t know Due to problem their end I m 49 hours without internet or tv and even though most everyone is back on I m not no information or updates and they ve stopped answering the help line The lady I got hold of Friday was pleasant enough though and spoke fair English better than my Spanish anyway I appreciate the incident wasn t their fault but I shall not be renewing my contract as overall it is not a good company and poor quality service even my new router doesn t come up to standard only wap wap2 weak security There are much better companies available in the area

Inconsistent internet
I live in Alozaina and had my internet installed by Vozplus over 5 years ago and it worked perfectly until Avatel took over the company evrsince the internet has been very inconsitent so we have problems watching our TV I looked to change companies but they have also Taken over the other local internet supplier Telecable and they have the same problem Avatel say they do not own the line and are waiting for somene else to fix the local problem which is obviously a load of rubish as both Vozplus and Telecable installed the lines Unfortunately I just have to put up with it If you have the choice do not use Avatel

Avatel service is NO service
Avatel had a technical problem from Sunday 25-8-2024 until Monday 26-8-2024 and was not able to provide internet in the Manilva estepona area Since there was no way to use landline data we were forced to make a normal international phone call Next invoice had 50 extra on it for making this call I called Avatel support to explain that we had no choice because of the technical problem on their side Support explained that it was our problem now that we should just have waited until the problem was fixed In short Avatel service is NO service Other issues over the past months - Not being able to call reachable in other countries- High ping latency on the line- Throttling of internet applications

Very disappointed
Very disappointed I have been without my internet service for over 10 days now Told that it was a technical issue at Avatel that would be fixed in a day or 2 Well it is still not working I emailed Avatel for an update but received no response They are very bad Muy decepcionado He estado sin mi servicio de internet por m s de 10 d as Dijo que era un problema t cnico en Avatel que se solucionar a en uno o dos d as Bueno todav a no funciona Envi un correo electr nico a Avatel para obtener una actualizaci n pero no recib respuesta Son muy malos

Only positive thing I can say about
Only positive thing I can say about this Company is the assistant spoke a little bit of English other than that she was not friendly or helpful I went there to check out taking out a contract but with her unfriendly attitude she made me feel I owed her something Customer service is the worst Taken my business elsewhere

Avatel Telecom - Closed Shop
I pay for extra speed from the standard offered to the community that I live in comprising nearly 2000 apartments I went to the office on Tuesday and cancelled the extras and have a document stating 0 00 to be charged Today I receive an invoice Where I live despite it being an open market the administrators of the complex have entered into an abusive contract with Avatel without consulting with the homeowners We cannot choose our own internet provider which is against consumer rights - in effect it is a closed shop If I could give minus stars I would Avoid at all costs

Do not subscribe to Avatel is my advice Since telitec is taken over by Avatel the service level has gone down from 10 to zero Zero as in no service at all Promisses but no following up I have asked another company to assist and help me to get internet again No people no service as promised and contact with the technical department is poor I feel sorry for the people doing their best to give any kind of support via email former telitec i think

Help Home Internet Pay as you Go
Help Is the pay as you go home internet company still in La Zenia opposite Alcampo I used to be able to pay online before arriving at Spain or go to the shop but when I google it says the shop is gone permanently Is this true If so anyone knows how I can pay as you weekly for home internet please I think I had mine installed by Aviata but I swear it was Teleeast or something like that Please help

A company to be avoided if one can as
A company to be avoided if one can as their client services is non existant It has been 6 days now that a technician was promised Not only do they report the technician tried to reach us but when I asked which number he was dialing they couldnt say and furthermore the client services say every time I call they will call us back to tell us when the technician will come but don t do so Its a total lack of customer care This time they are getting a formal complaint

There is no possibility of zero stars
There is no possibility of zero stars but my rating would be minus one star We had not choice our internet provider was taken over by Avatel without reference to us We have constant internet cuts TV has constant connection cuts land line is connected to account does not work Since Avatel took over it is a disaster Constant feeble excuses We will change provider ASAP
