Avoid business checking
I have business and personal accounts with them but not for long By far the worst bank and most antiquated online banking system I ve ever experienced Every time I have an issue it is such a hassle to resolve

THE WORST- WARNING DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT AT AXOS
THE WORST Business owners stay clear DO NOT I repeat DO NOT open an account here Their platform is from 1994 their customer service is dismal You can not move money around and to take money out it is painful and borderline fraudulent how hard it is STAY FAR AWAY

Axos is barely adequate in every way
Axos is adequate in every way If you want to bank it will get the job done Remote deposits take 3x as long as they do at my local bank and 4x as long as they do at my local credit union Getting a new debit card takes 2 weeks unless you pay 50 to expedite the process to 1 week At my local bank and credit union I get new cards printed in the lobby while I wait External transfers usually take 3-5 days though it says 1-3 days when you set them up Further it s impossible to talk to customer service I ve had transactions at the grocery store randomly rejected due to fraud risk leading me to leave my groceries at the register for the poor clerk to put away I wasn t able to get through to the fraud team to get my card reactivated for over a day Now I had subscription that I had cancelled multiple times but the charges kept showing up The simple solution is to get a new card I asked Axos for a new card They cancelled my current card then told me it would take 2 weeks to get me a new one That means that I would have to go two weeks without gas or groceries because I was stupid enough to put my faith in Axos to hold my money Fortunately I was able to open an account at a credit union down street and have a new card up and running in less than 50 minutes Don t waste your time with Axos Just bank local

Major Red flag of a bank
Update as of 1 5 2024 I STILL have NOT received my money I opened a high-yield business savings account in October 23 to hold money for my business that only needs to be used a few times a year I opened it with 3k and planned to set up my monthly deposits Tax bill due end of Dec so starting the beginning of November I have tried to withdraw my money from my business savings account with Axos I linked my external account to do the transfer and then discovered they do not allow transfers between banks and I had to WIRE my money to myself Not only that but they charge a 15 fee to do this I discovered this only after having to call twice to figure out what the problem was with the transfer Through Axos secure messaging portal I submitted my wire form Days later they responded and said it was not complete because I only wrote my name and did not include my business name even though there was no space or question for that I re-sent the form with my name and business name side by side I was then told I was not able to do the wire until I called to confirm the wire I was also told there was other information missing from the form and asked to resend it again Mind you this form is one page long and all items were filled out I was told days later the supposed missing information was their mistake and the form was complete but I needed to call to close the account which I requested after all this trouble Between 11 8 23 and 11 28 23 there are 9 different messages from Axos They conveniently do not allow customers to see their outgoing messages so I don t have access to all the times I contacted them I have sent the form no less than four times I sent it twice in two separate messages on 12 5 23 with no response As of 12 7 23 I am STILL waiting on my money I called again this morning and was told by the woman I spoke with that they do not have my form and she cannot authorize my wire I feel after all this time this is fraud and there is a willful delay and hold of my money After calling twice today I was first sent a message that my wire is finally processing Then another message saying they cannot process it because my business bank account they are to send the money to is not an intermediary bank What does that even mean No explanation On 12 7 23 I reported them to the FDIC Miraculously a few short long days later I received a notice that my money was wired and my account was successfully closed

After having high hopes for Axos
After having high hopes for Axos sadly I no longer want to do business with them after this last experience I am having I was promised repeatedly with whatever I needed to hear when I called yet i have learned that 5-7 business days 8 that today at midnight is actually tomorrow at midnight and if the CS person tells you anything its probably a lie I have been waiting for a deposit to clear for over a week now have been told I can expect it today tomorrow who knows I ask to speak with authority and am told NO They maade me get on my app and tell them WHY i need MY money only to promise resolutions that never come When I am finally able to withdraw my money from these liars I am closing my account and cutting up my debit card Worst bank ever 0 10

I ve experienced the worst customer
I ve experienced the worst customer service when it comes to company checking especially Mose who was completely deficient in skill in every way Not only did the bank not notify me of the fraudulent transactions but I also had to cope with a lack of contact from my relations manager But Ke ZO OK allows me to receive a refund in about three days

Third time was not a charm
I got talked into trying Axos Bank again for my business with a high yield savings account that is not listed on their website oddly Everything at Axos is like banking in 1999 I could not even move my money from my savings to my checking account online What bank can t do that It seems something very strange is going on at this bank on the business site for sure Their tech is absolutely the worst Wow I got a quicker reply from posting a bad review here than I did in calling or email the bank directly But the bank can t fix broken if they are not willing to admit how sub par their online banking tech is They have been lying to me for years a new improved version is coming I am serious for YEARS I don t think they really realize how terrible their product is Also their support seems to have moved out of the country and it is hard to get help from people who seem to know less about the bank than you do

THIS IS THE WORST BANK EVER I ve had to deal with the worst customer service regarding my business checking In particular Jose who was so unprofessional in every manner I ve had to deal with fraudulent charges that weren t even alerted by the bank and forget about any kind of relations manager communication DO NOT BANK WITH THIS INSTITUTION

Is this even a real bank
I have had nothing but problems with this bank I was originally doing robo-investing with Wise Banyan and Axos took over the account--and start charging maintenance fees which my Wise Banyan did not I did a transfer on 12-04-23 to my external checking account Got the email from them that day confirming it Thought it was all handled After checking my account on 12-11-23 and not seeing the transfer I call Axos I find out that for some internal program issue the transfer didn t go through But I never received an email informing me of that So they told me they d do a manual transaction Today 12-14-23 I log-in to my external checking account no transfer in there so I log in to Axos Now I see that my investment account shows that not only has the money not been transferred but has magically doubled in dollar value I kid you not I can literally move that money online but think it s bad karma and just want to end my association with them So I call them again ask them where that extra money came from--they have no explanation I ask them why my original investment amount hasn t been transferred They don t know that either But they assure me that it will get handled and gave me an IT case number I ve never dealt with a more incompetent bank in my life And it s still not handled yet I just want to be done with this
