Not a company I would recommend My phone not delivered I can not get the help I need to get a refund as despite having a confirmation e-mail of order and proof that phone not delivered I cannot access their Help Customer service as when I log in shows no orders made There is no way it seems to communicate with them to address the situation as keep being asked to go my orders and ask for help which I cant as no order showing so no phone and no refund I would avoid buying from them in the future

Scam

I bought an iPhone 15 from this company Like other reviews my order isn t showing up and I can t get in touch with them the phone has a fault and I will now have to pay Apple to repair it This company is a massive scam Absolutely no way of getting in touch as my order doesn t show up in my order history when I had an invoice issued

Rubbishceived my iPhone it wont update then

received my iPhone it wont update then found out the battery isn t apple just a generic one now there s no sound when i get a call my husband bought this as mid range so we expected better really rubbish company making money out of you don t be fooled

Send me a phone with a virus in it a month down the line I m still being hacked and have no control over my life Avoid this company

Not sure if this is a scam

My trade in was confirmed by email and I was given a date of when I could expect payment into my bank account 5 days later I received another email asking me to post my phone or the offer would be rescinded So now I have no phone and Backmarket have said they have not received the phone yet this after they told me that they had received the phone and payment wass pending Back Market Trade-in Sat Oct 5 1 39 PM 6 days ago to Back MarketPayment approved It s your lucky day Terence Our partner E-Trade Tech LTD has approved your payment of 33 00 You can expect the payment to arrive in your bank account by the 14 10 2024 Back Market Trade-in Tue Oct 8 6 13 PM 3 days ago to Hello Terence The refurbisher s offer for your Galaxy A20ewill expire in 4 days 10 12 2024 and it looks like you haven t managed to get it posted just yet We get it Life gets in the way Maybe you re thinking Meh I ll just sell it later Totally fine with us But just so you know the longer you wait the more your Galaxy A20e loses value Grab your 33 00 while it s still a sure thing Is this a scam site

Beware before purchasing from this company

I received my excellent condition phone opened it turned it on and there was a massive green line across the top of the screen I immediately contacted Back Market and returned it the next day as per their terms of sale To cut a long story short they said that I had damaged the phone and therefore it was out of warranty which was ridiculous as I d simply opened it Please be aware that you cannot speak to anyone directly via a phone call regarding any problems and you basically have your hands tied as they are not a UK Trader this is one of the responses I got We appreciate you taking them time to write to us and would like to respond to your query As Back Market is not a UK trader we are not member of a UK trade association nor a member of an ADR body in the UK However we are willing to use an ADR but this is only after all internal handling complaints mechanisms have been exhausted We recommend you contact the free alternative dispute resolution services provided by the London Arbitration Center which can provide mediation service As I am recovering from cancer I honestly do not have the strength left to start ADR proceedings and wait for many more months for a resolution I am now defeated and stuck with a faulty phone

I wish I had never heard of this company I traded in an iPhone XS by following their trade-in instructions exactly but have had no acknowledgement or payment I also bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max from them but it freezes so I tried to ask for a refund but the website won t recognise my Account details so I can t access the complaints section So annoying

Appalling

ive brought 2 phones of them both went wrong in 3 months both times they have said the warranty has ran out even though both phones are faulty they say it comes with 12 months warranty when it actually doesn t bloody shocking will not be getting another phone from them Over 600 quid 2 phones in 7 months still with out a phone

BEWARE- possible scammers and bad customer service

I would not recommend BackMarket at all I even feel they could be operating a scam I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S23 which has a 6 6-inch screen I also selected a storage of 256GB all shown on my invoice However what I have received is a Samsung S23 base model with 6 1 inch screen Checking further the phone also only has 128GB storage The IMEI number which matches between the order details and phone information show it is an S23 and not a plus Clearly there is a significant price difference between what I ordered and what I have received To resolve this they have offered me a partial refund for me to keep the incorrect phone which would leave me paying more than what s available on their website for a phone I didn t even choose Their replies are forceful in pushing me to accept such a ridiculous offer Illogical and bad customer service Leaves me to question if I was purposely sent a cheaper incorrect item hoping I wouldn t notice to make an increased profit
