Absolutely disgusting company rude

Baron Homes operate inadequate homeless hostels which have had prior issues with regards to substance misuse antisocial behaviour and child protection They do so while making a profit They have been named in the panama papers as has their director

Absolutely disgusting company rude attitude towards tenants I lived in emergency housing for 6 years now and I have had water coming through my ceiling and floor and they don t do proper repairs and they have refused to deal with the bedbugs at Richmond place I have mental health problems and asthma Brighton and hove city council refuse to rehome me in social housing DON T LIVE IN HOMES PROVIDED BY BARON HOMES unless you want to live in hell because that s what it is HELL

Zero involvement during tenancy will then try to grab your deposit

There is no 0 star sadly We are living an apartment of theirs Today our bathroom ceiling started to soaking and the water came trough the spot bulbs We called the emergency number 50 times and sent them emails but no answer The ceiling falling apart Ridiculous company

Terrible experience Do not rent from them

I acted as guarantor for a friend who rented from BaronHomes so I had the joy of experiencing Baron s approach to things In short Zero involvement during the tenancy then try to hold onto the entire deposit for no reason whatsoever For example the flat suffered from a rat infestation which BH did nothing for ages until the tenants had to arrange for professionals to take care of it Regarding the deposit suffice it to say they claimed the entire deposit for completely made up reasons and damages we disputed everything and the arbitrator concluded in favor of the tenants returning 90 of the deposit So make sure to avoid It really isn t worth the stress dealing with them Just find another flat

Avoid like the pest

Dont know from where to begin Their rudeness and extreme unprofessionalism towards their tenants The fact that they didnt get involved at all when we had problems with the flat such as rats whichhappened several times or that they tried to get the whole deposit from us with damages that they made up In general they treat their customers in the worst way they dont help at all when issues occur at their properties and all they want is to claim as much money from you as possible So just dont rent from them

Absolute disgrace For everyone thinking of renting a property run by baron homes I strongly suggest you think about it twice Unresponsive rude unprofessional and dishonest Just google the company and you ll find a plethora of complaints and court cases involving these people The positive reviews on here are at best the same baron homes staffers being delusional or blatantly attempting to cover up what is going on very dishonest sloppy and so out of touch with reality You could have your ceiling falling on you water pipes exploding and a fire in your kitchen these subjects will not move a finger and then charge you for services that in actual terms they won t offer The nerve Have a question or dare you not a complaint good luck getting in touch Baron homes are above and beyond emails and just won t bother dealing with you My heart sinks at the thought of having these people determine if I ll get my deposit back Please do yourself a favour don t rent from bh find yourself a lovely property to live in possibly managed by a competent and honest agent You re worth it

Awful company in the business of ripping off tenants No management either along the way We had a flood from upstairs and when we called for support we were hung up on as it was clocking off time Then we tried the emergency number which seemed to be a mobile switched off In the end the fire brigade had to come out to make the flat safe At the end of the tenancy they try and charge your deposit for non existent things including for us paint damage from the flood upstairs Avoid at all costs

The worst that humanity has to offer

Evil company run by an evil person Willing to wreck an exiting bicycle storage housing over 80 bicycles to create a tiny flat so they can line their pockets a bit more They do not care about the residents their wellbeing or their property value They are ruining our beautiful communal gardens to lay gas pipes for their new flat And those works have not been approved by the council so they re doing work illegally They are ruining our peace and quiet by causing endless noise every day of the week and destroying a bicycle storage is a really awful move when we are all encouraged to cycle more Absolutely horrible company everybody working for them should be ashamed of themselves
