Barons Bodyshop Hindhead The worst repair garage I have ever experienced From my first contact with them to the actual completion of the work Which isn t actually completed because they have had a bac log The first appt I was given for the guy to assess the damage to my car and prepare the quote The assessor came and he was not aware of the booking the one star is for him as he carried out the assessment and did the quote we also ageed at that meeting that my car would be collected from the Ash Vale garage I accepted the quote booked it in for the work to be done and was told the car could not be pick up from Ash Vale I pointed out that this was what had been arranged A few days later I got a call saying that they were overbooked and i arranged a new date and had to go through the same rigmarol again Just a few days before the car was booked in for the work to be carried out I received an email guess what asking if I had authorised for the work to be done I was hoping to get my car back today as originally agreed and have been told it will be delivered to the Ash Vale garage on the 6th Sept Outrageous and Barons should feel embarrased at offering such a rubbish service I will never use this garage again Trish Crawford

was looking to sell my mini Found an advert which claims they buy any mini for either cash or part exchange Made an enquiry and received a response saying happy to help with part exchange I advised I wasnt looking for a new car - just to sell and was told they werent buying any cars currently I advised that was different to the advert and was told they have enough stock He offered to escalate to the Sales Manager who would be in touch with me shortly This was Monday - Im still waiting False Advertising

Avoid the sales team like the plague as they are very shroud and dishonest You ll be told you ll be looked after however this is clearly not the case Items were added to an agreement I didn t approve The car I would liked to have purchased was over price by 3000 I was lied to with regards to who decides the APR And the salesmen tried to sell me a car for more than it cost new three years ago Do not believe a word they tell you and double check everything before you sign anything as the sales team will try there hardest to con you in ya deal that isn t financially viable

Barons Hindhead Unprofessional and untrustworthy Avoid at all cost
Barons Hindhead Unprofessional untrustworthy and by far the worst dealership I have ever left my car with They damaged my wheel tried to say it was the wheel locking nuts causing the problem and that they had to charge for new ones All turned out to be a lie and they had just damaged the wheel I ve had BMW s for years but will never go to a Barons ever again

Don t do what they say they will
Visited dealer to enquire about purchasing a car for my daughter We were both able to test drive a car We then got into negotiations on price and PX The arrogance shown was amazing Ther eis no margin in a second hand car - not what websites say about buying or part exchanging the same car through a dealer The PX price for our current car was way less than the trade price Way off on cost to change The salesman promised to discuss with manager and call that evening no call We called the followind day to be told he wasn t working and they would leave a message to call back first thing the following day No call we had to chase them He admnitted he had forgotten he had promised to call They clearly want a quick easy sale Any objections or challenges are disregarded Atrocious customer service Avoid

Terrible experiences
Aside from one or two replacement part jobs I have only ever had servicing and warranty and recall work carried out at Barons Hindhead and Barons Farnborough My first warranty issue took 9 months to be addressed from the time of reporting the issue and during that time my vehicle lost around 1 5k in depreciation Most recently I authorised Barons Hindhead to complete the outstanding work from that warranty issue whilst carrying out a safety recall job and I am still without my car to this day I have been without my 2013 car for around 120 yup 120 days now and the garage have not provided me with replacement transport I have not found the dealership to be professional or transparent and I would not recommend them to anyone They have now refused to do any further work on the vehicle despite stating initially via email We will get the car fixed and then we will advise you once this is ready

I have just cancelled the service of my BMW at Barons Farnborough which was due tomorrow When i booked over 4 weeks ago i was promised a courtesy car to get to work They wanted my car in at 8 00 am and to keep it all day and the price for this standard service was quoted at 955 00 When i rang to confirm i was told no courtesy car no lift to work This is the second time that Barons have failed I have now booked with Synter at Ascot for a while you wait service that will take 1 5 hours My advice is never use Barons they are only interested in selling very expensive cars with zero after sales service

Great car just everything else
Purchased a used X3 from Barons Hindhead in Jan 2019 Did a p x plus some cash and the balance on a PCP Was advised categorically that the PCP was fully flexible and that I could pay off lump sums of any value any time That proved not to be the case as BMW Finance had a completely different interpretation of flexible I queried this back with Hindhead but frankly they were not interested This created a huge headache weeks of issues with BMW Finance the Financial Ombudsman and ended up hitting me with 2K in unexpected costs I also had the balance of service plan Had one service a couple of months after purchase - fine Booked in Jan 2021 for another service at Farnborough - told then about mileage and service plan but when I arrived they refused as vehicle not quite due I advised due to numerous short journeys due to lockdown I would like the service They refused unless I paid then they would service I advised I had in effect Paid already through the service pack but NO I tried again in March as vehicle was now closer to mileage point but when after three emails and no response they finally called they advised there was no service pack against the vehicle despite them telling me back in January it was valid until May 2021 They cannot will not explain why I will never use again and will use an independent or other dealer Like other I have spoken to they are dismissive and arrogant They will also lose service income on my wife s Mini and my daughters BMW What goes around comes around as they say Good car though so far

Wasted time
Wasted time Few weeks ago I have agreed that I ll sell my car to BMW and Matthew George called me over the phone He offered me a price and said please come over and the price could possibly go higher The money offered was 24500 over the phone I have explained that my car is in immaculate condition new tires full service done BMW car eye 2-dash camera etc Next day I went to the shop I spent almost 2 hours in the traffic Another hour in the shop to hear from him we can offer you a maximum 23500 Ridiculous Last week I sold my car to another BMW dealership for 26000 You wasted my time

Poor Service
I had my Mini serviced along with the MOT in September On booking this service I was not offered a courtesy car and when I queried this a couple of days before the appointment I was told it wasn t an option and as the car would be with them all day I would need to make my own arrangements to and from the dealership-so not a good start On dropping off the car I was instructed to use their check in machine as they are now paperless but unfortunately everyone had disappeared when I had trouble with the machine not working properly and couldn t drop off the key On querying a rough time for pick up I was told before 5pm I was phoned later for permission to fit new wiper blades as mine had split but otherwise everything else was ok However after taking the car home I discovered when it next rained that the wiper blades were still split-they had forgotten to change them I also discovered the locking wheel but was missing I contacted the dealership and was told to bring it back in and they would fit them for free and look for the locking wheel but Fitting for free still meant nearly 60 for wiper blades and the locking wheel nut was not found This wasn t their fault as they use a universal wheel nut-so i can only conclude it must have just vanished by itself Will not be using this dealership again
