SCAM STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS This company will lure you in with low prices and promises of being trustworthy RUN because what you actually get is months of threats harrasment money being taken out of your account with no explanation The best bit They charge you late fees for months preceding signing contracts Can you imagine being charged 2 months before you even make the mistake of doing a Google search and thinking this company is worth a look To be told wait for it they will try and remove the late fees Are you crazy basepoint What planet are you on thinking people will accept this Hold on I forgot they also train their staff on best methods of gaslighting Following a phone call that was recorded because at this point there s no trust left the person emails with a summary of the phone call qnd tries to tell me what I have said to suit her dialogue and threaten me I m sure I will be lucky enough to receive the standard I think you are being unfair response - Lorraine don t bother- save your energy for court Anyone wanting to join ranks and take this company to court please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to assist with paperwork

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever The manager lied to us to get us to book online and we were fraudulently charged on our card I noticed other reviews on various websites and realised we are not the only ones Sad that this place and the manager can get away with treating people so wrong

JUST an update for everyone
Honestly just an update for everyone My reply to the complaint that was made - Everything I had experienced was wrong and didn t happen the way I said Some smart a e wrote a lengthy email pointing out all the errors I had made As always these guys don t dissapoint with how ridiculous they are I managed to laugh my way through the first page and stopped bothering to read it Basepoint look at your reviews for this center Take a moment to have a think why every person is saying the exact same thing and maybe try to do better hopefully head office will pick up all these negative reviews and make some changes to the staff Stop telling everyone the reviews are unfair - this is what people are experiencing with this company TRY LISTENING

Don t bother with Winchester Basepoint Car park is a total joke No communication from reception that you have to register your car Then you get issued with a 100 parking fine Emailed them for help and usual computer says no response You re better off having a meeting in Weatherspoons

Winchester was great until about Jan this year the staffing changed and it fell to the floor Whatever happened - you need to reverse it If the salesman there isn t gossiping on his phone flirting shamelessly with a woman in the building bring a bro or apparently dealing stocks on his laptop then he s nowhere to be seen

Mid contract price increases One member of staff onsite occasionally who offers little to no help and refuses to offer an alternative contact Lift is broken more often than not No security Gate is often left unlocked overnight and break-ins are a regular occurrence Regular failed attempts to introduce new hidden charges and fees for services that aren t requested or even offered Unwilling to negotiate any kind of exit clause Unjustified and extortionate fees at the end of contract for refurbishment charged per square foot of the office space regardless of the condition it is left in Will not discuss return of the deposit before all exit fees are paid Once all paid and left they still won t pay back your deposit

Good luck getting your deposit back
Overdue deposit refund No attempt made to pay back the deposit within the 30 day window advertised Emailed requesting my refund and I either get ignored or fobbed off that it s taking some time yeah right Try and call at any time of the day and I m told Basepoint head offices are shut so can t even speak to anyone When even your own centre manager isn t shocked and says this is happening to others along with multiple online reviews I m left with no choice but to go through small claims court You have my money it s overdue and this is classed as theft I ll await the usual defensive response and my money

No sign of my retainer refund
No sign of my retainer refund that s almost 60 days late After chasing and chasing for weeks I finally get told we re processing your refund and you ll get it in 5-7 working days Shock no refund I emailed the help desk to be told they ve raised my concern to the finance team but yet still no refund Also don t bother trying to call their finance department as they no longer exist there s an option for it on the phone when you call it says the business is shut Avoid this shoddy company at all costs Unfortunately I will continue with my small claims court case and I ve now reported them to the financial ombudsman Incase I didn t make it clear avoid Basepoint I couldn t regret renting an office with this company more if I tried 27 09 23 UPDATEUsual response Apparently this is the 3rd time they ve had to reprocess my refund and without giving any time scales No response to my email to Lorraine didn t get a response 3 weeks ago either Continuing with small claims court

ANDOVER BASEPOINT - The reception team are great but the systems and people they work for are beyond belief Charged a late payment fee because I didn t tick a box that made the ONLY credit card on the system the preferred card - getting no sensible discussion and coupled with a change in my agreement I wasn t made aware of additional parking electric and facility fees being added to account No-one able to assist apparently outside the Andover team Pathetic customer service and no wonder the place is emptying fast with this type of corporate management in place

6 months No refund despite basepoint agreeing they overcharged us IN WRITING
why isn t there a NO STAR OPTION 6 months - for an OVERCHARGED INVOICE to be refundedgave up with their ridiculous system---------------------------------Branch we can t do any more - contact Portal Portal log a case and we ll come back to you or contact branchWebsite email - email them and they pass your email to the branch -------------------------------3 times we supplied Bank detailsand still no repayment as Basepoint couldn t find them - this becomes relevant later in this review ------------------------------------------NOBODY Takes ownership of the issuewe noted this on our first email to them Little did we know how awful their customer service is Branch staff fine replying to an emailbut actually helping you and don t forget we are a paying customer Don t make me laugh-------------------------------------------In the end we served Small Claims court paperworkthey paid us1 our overcharged invoice2 court suggested interest3 the admin fee we noted reflected what they would have charged us if we owed them money and AMAZINGLY - they found our Bank info to make the payment who d have thought it - they must have had it on their system-----------------------------------------------------------Basepoint CSA Michelle6 monthsand your branch staff REPEATEDLY told us in writing that it was ONLY possible to resolve using the online portalSO DON T NOW tell me that there was another option to contact youyou are contradicting your own centre managementBASEPOINT IN GENERALRead the reviewswe re not a one-offseems you are deliberately implementing a system that deliberately delays frustrates customers who you owe moneywhy not look at the policy
